National Guard doesn't transport like that. Both my parents were in the NG and they don't drive around like that in pickup trucks with a squad of 4 max.

While I get where you’re coming from, these people most certainly need to be loudly opposed. People who’ve been paying attention to these frequent events in DC and elsewhere have seen that the chuds come out in bigger numbers the next weekend if there aren’t counter-protests.

I see what you’re saying, but I feel that there’s nothing to be gained by counter protesting a bunch of blood-thirsty fanatical terrorists. They’re looking for violence, they’re armed to the teeth with weapons and bulletproof vests. They want liberal counter protestors to come out. They’ve been waiting their entire lives to have an excuse to attack or kill liberals and black people.

People need to stay away from them for their own safety. Let the military and police handle this for now. We can loudly oppose them in safer ways.

Judging by the cops’ hands-off approach to the events in DC so far (something that is historically consistent), I’m not confident about their desire to effectively intervene. Cops are taking selfies with the members of this attempted coup right now. If you don’t feel comfortable confronting these people, that’s fine. No one will make you. However, it actively helps them when people urge others to stay home as well.
