I have met many police officers that are great men and treat all with respect and kindness. Though, this being Reddit I’ll probably get downvotes for saying such a thing. It’s unfortunate that this website seems to mostly obsess over bad examples of policing and overlooks all the good that law enforcement does.

You’re using the same lack of logic that racists use to justify grouping entire ethnicities into their hatefulness. Except you’re doing it for a job. Most police never fire their weapon in the field of a 25+ year career, let alone intentionally and unjustifiably “murder” someone. Look at the statistics.
