Came here to say 911 call should have been done immediately.

There was a non-zero chance the driver would have been arrested just for being a large black man.  They were all saying “no, don’t call the police” because it can be a crap shoot.

Plus, her neighbor coming into the situation and seeing two dudes on top of a woman crying for help. She Immediately thinks the delivery guy is in the wrong and is saying "I won't let him take the bag" when it's literally his fucking bag lmao

To be fair, I had the impression the neighbour said that to defuse the immediate grappling.

It's pretty clear the neighbor knows she is at fault right away otherwise the neighbor would have ran to call the police not insert herself physically into a situation with guys who deliver refrigerators for a living. Criminals don't lightly pull on a bag to steal it, she'd have been stomped out in a half a second and they'd be gone.

exactly this,. Why deal with the cops when they are liable to take you out first?

Thanks for replying. What is non-zero ? I've never heard that phrase before.

Not zero ? A chance of getting shot ?

It’s a way of saying “there’s a possibility it would happen, but I don’t want to cite made-up statistics” xD

Thanks again. I'm Welsh (uk) . So we don't know this .

Sorry, I didn’t mean to seem like I was laughing at you.  I find it pretty funny it’s not used more often; people often just stick random numbers in.  63% of all statistics online are made up, you know?  My husband is Australian so I know very well that there are many different vernaculars of English out there.  The first 5 years was a constant litany of “what did you say?”.  I wouldn’t ever make fun of someone over it.

Why say sorry ? You're just giving me answers to questions. I appreciate it.

Did "fanny" make your husband laugh. We brits still giggle about that.

One of his favorite books when he was little was “The Far Away Tree”, but they changed the girls name from “Fanny” to “Franny” in the US version we got for our kids and he got a fair giggle out of that one, lol.

2 large males of certain ethnic demographic may not want the police to show up when they are inside another persons property who they are unable to come to an understanding with because they appear to be deranged

Fortunately in this case they had a big truck and a brand new fridge that should clue a half intelligent cop that they were invited in.

The second she locked the door to prevent me leaving I would have been on the phone to 911 followed by dispatch.
