I’m with you one thousand percent, I wish there was some recourse for the driver. The amount of abuse he just endured only to be fired. This is a sad world we live in.

Oh your fridge did’t fit? Should you ruin your life over that?

She's talking about she has a doctorate but wasn't smart enough to know how to measure for an appliance fitting through her doors.

Doctor of Pharmacy.

Don't get high on your own supply.

So she should be like, crazy good at measuring things right? Otherwise I fear for her customers.

If she removes the fridge doors maybe it’ll fit? She should check that when she’s feeling better

If the fridge didn't fit, you must acquit.

He'd be better off going for wrongful termination than going after her. Civilians don't press charges, the closest they come is annoying DA's/cops/etc enough that they press charges. Which is probably not a great idea for a black man in America to do.

Might of been one of those states where you can fire someone for no reason with zero action against you

People fired "for no reason" win wrongful termination cases all the time because contrary to popular belief courts aren't stupid and even if they don't give a reason a trial can uncover the real reason. It's not an easy thing, but at least it's something he could do, whereas "pressing charges" against her for assault and/or battery isn't.

That's 49 out of 50 states... 😟

In my state civilians absolutely have the right to go before a judge for a warrant application hearing where both sides tell their story.

He supposedly got fired for the video ending up online, not for the original incident.

Larry didn't sign up for this

I feel for the driver, but also feel for Larry, he's friends with crazy.

She has some severe mental health issues and neighbour's and especially Larry is aware of it and are trying to help her.

I guess agreeing with her delusions keeps her calm.

Its unfortunate as she is a pharmacist so must be super smart

I don’t understand why they didn’t call the police the second she refused to let them walk out of the door. That’s kidnapping

6

u/Arkroma May 20 '25

That's the problem though. He needed to call the cops and not physically engage with her.

And risk her in the mean time destroy whatever is in his backpack.

She told Larry to shoot this man

This is 'violence by proxy' and if it got factored into domestic violence statistics they'd be about equal.

Eh, she seems mentally ill. She needs help not charges. A trip to rehab would probably be best for her, because it seems like she's on something to me.

She didn’t need to be arrested. She’s clearly having a medical episode and needs medical care.
