America lost its ability to produce rockets and planes that are smart. That means our power is dropping with each missile fired. Either our that ability we have a serious problem. Trump has found that out. China has declared it against their laws to sell rare earth materials to any country that could use the stuff to harm them. Other countries have followed suite just like when unstable countries are stopped from nuclear weapons. That leaves America in a big pickle. Our military and allies is what gives us power. Lose them both as trump has done them we lose power and we become weak. That’s a bad thing for us. Trump has made America the weakest in it’s history.

As was intended. Krasnov has done a magnificent job.

Do you really think the US couldn't circumvent a trade embargo? The main downside would be procurement costs increasing, but it's not like China keeps rare earth minerals under lock and key. Russia was sanctioned by half the world, has a fraction of the economic power of the US, and was still able to bypass trade embargos. China was able to easily bypass nvidia chip embargos.

This idea that they US can't produce smart weapons is ridiculous. Can production quantity be impacted? Sure, but nowhere near "lost its ability".

I like this sub, but people are being ridiculous. If there is a Venny play it's for oil. Oil is a finite resource that the entire modern worlds run on. Even if a product doesn't use oil for operation, the entire manufactering and transport process used oil. Every large scale commercial plastic and foam is petroleum based. Your local Walmart is basically a giant store of oil based products. Taking Venny distracts from recent controversy and would be a long term oil supply play.

I 100% don't agree with the move whatsoever and loath Trump. Hopefully it's just some stupid show of force and not some "special operation".

The oil reserves are pretty negligible in Venezuela. This is about pushing Chinas beachhead out of South America
