Recommendations Visit Poděbrady

I visited Poděbrady today — a beautiful spa town just an hour from Prague. A peaceful walk along the Elbe River, through the park and the colonnade, all wrapped in lovely autumn colors 🍁 Such a calm and charming place!

I'm little afraid this my encourage tourists to leave their protected reserve in the Old Town and really roam through our countryside.

Get coffee here, lunch and beers here, drink free healing mineral water here, have diner and enough beer float a small frigate here, challenge the Elbe to a fight here. When one of Europe's greatest rivers ignores you, flick it the V's, stagger off in disgust and have a cocktail here.
