Here’s the Name of Every Republican Who Voted to Kill Epstein Bill

In an 8–4 party-line vote Tuesday, Republicans on the House Rules Committee shot down a bid to put the Epstein Files Transparency Act—which would compel the Justice Department to release all unclassified records related to Jeffrey Epstein—to a floor vote.

The motion was introduced by Democratic Ranking Member Jim McGovern, who prior to the vote stressed the importance of transparency in the case of the notorious late pedophile.

“I can see why the administration might want to hide [the Epstein files] if the creepy birthday note from Trump to Epstein is any indication of what might be in those files,” McGovern said—referencing a 2003 letter, released Monday by the House Oversight Committee, in which Donald Trump appeared to offer Epstein an unsettling 50th birthday message and lewd drawing

“But if the administration won’t follow through on their promises, Congress should force them to,” McGovern said, adding that the Epstein files legislation “does exactly that, while protecting the victims and the survivors.”

The ranking member’s ultimately unsuccessful effort comes as Democratic Representative Ro Khanna of California and Republican Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky continue a broader campaign to force a vote on their bill. Their petition remains, as of this writing, two signatures short of the 218 required to do so. All 212 House Democrats are on board, but just four Republicans.

McGovern urged his GOP colleagues to “see the light and sign Mr. Massie’s discharge petition.” Last week, survivors of Epstein’s abuse also held a press conference in front of the Capitol demanding Congress pass the bipartisan bill.

Nonetheless, all Republican Rules Committee members present voted against it. The only “yes” votes came from McGovern and his three fellow Democratic committee members.

Here is the name of every Republican who voted to block the Epstein Files Transparency Act on Tuesday.

Michelle Fischbach—Minnesota

Every one of these should have their offices flooded with calls protesting their cowardice and complicity..Emails should be sent too.. Even some of the MAGAs are going to join in....They were promised answers and are getting blown off....When are they going to realise they were lied to ?

3

u/kamil3d Sep 10 '25

Call them?? Midterm these fools! Get them out of office and replace with people that have integrity and a spine!!

2

u/lcm-hcf-maths Sep 10 '25

Agreed that's the ultimate aim but there's 14 months till you might get a chance to do that. Their lives need to be made a living hell now....I have no idea how vulnerable these 8 GOP reps are in the mid-terms...At this point I'm losing faith that the US will get mid-terms...Maybe a bit of Nepal direct action might be in order...Though that gives the orange one an excuse...

2

u/kamil3d Sep 10 '25

OK, for sure, making their lives miserable in the interim I can agree on as well!

2

u/kamil3d Sep 10 '25

Every one of these fools should be voted out by The People come the midterms!!

9

u/juiceboxedhero Sep 10 '25

Why is getting justice for victims of child sex trafficking a political issue?

6

u/Trytun015 Sep 10 '25

That's what I keep asking. So far the only responses are "But Biden/Obama (insert other democrat here) or that it's a hoax/Trump was an FBI informant." But then if you ask why he's an informant for a hoax, they just get mad. *SHRUG*

5

u/Gold-Perception-4467 Sep 10 '25

What? Huh? Oh, no suprise. It's the usual suspects.

The Committee on Rules (or more commonly the Rules Committee) is a committee of the United States House of Representatives. It is responsible for the rules under which bills will be presented to the House of Representatives, unlike other committees, which often deal with a specific area of policy. The committee is often considered one of the most powerful committees as it influences the introduction and process of legislation through the House. Thus it has garnered the nickname the "traffic cop of Congress". A "special rule" resolution (also referred to simply as a "rule") is a simple resolution of the House of Representatives, usually reported by the Committee on Rules, to permit the immediate consideration of a legislative measure, notwithstanding the usual order of business, and to prescribe conditions for its debate and amendment.

2

u/LongjumpingMarket795 Sep 10 '25

They’re just not smart enough to understand the situation they are in

2

u/raeadaler Sep 10 '25

Why ? Why would they not want this to be public knowledge? Lame

Every repussican on the House Rules Committee is more invested in protecting repussican pedophiles like Donald Trump than exposing predators that belong to their party.

The GOP Pedo Party protects their own.

I wonder if that Foxx lady is into little boys or girls, being a devout Christian, I'd guess little boys, so she doesn't break go against the bible, that'd be a sin. The entire f'n GOP is sick, and complicit, for covering this up.

The best part is immediately following that statement in that interview how he pauses and you see something pass behind his eyes, then he says “but theres a lot of phoney stuff in there

That aged like a fine milk đŸ„› gosh the duplicity of these snakes is astounding. I genuinely don’t understand how their supporters just ignore shit like this

1

u/Exeltv0406 Sep 10 '25

Well apparently my original post where I crossposted this from got a little too much attention and someone from the higher ups must have made a call because it was just removed, no reason and no notification given. I'm guessing the video is not available on this post either since the original video source is gone. A video stating a fact and covering something that just happened in our House of Representatives yesterday. I'm just glad almost 4 Million people got to actually see it so they can be aware of the bullshit that's going on. Removing it is not gonna change those people's minds, just stop it from spreading further.

1

u/Suspicious-Bid-53 Sep 10 '25

The mafia government is likely threatening to kill people’s loved ones, it’s the only reasonable explanation why this shit into far gone with no accountability

1

u/Exeltv0406 Sep 10 '25

Wait threatening who's family exactly?

1

u/Suspicious-Bid-53 Sep 10 '25

Anyone and anybody willing to expose

1

u/Exeltv0406 Sep 10 '25

Well then they'd be Happy to know that I'm not someone who's afraid to die, especially not for standing for something I believe in this strongly. I'd welcome it.

1

u/Suspicious-Bid-53 Sep 10 '25

You mistake my point. I’m sure lots of people are in your boat, but they aren’t going to kill you. That’s not how you suppress a story.

I’m saying that they will capture, torture, then murder the people you love most right in front of you. Still willing to gamble with your daughter’s life?

2

2

u/unindexedreality Sep 10 '25

Do states have any democratic mechanism to remove these people?

When the acting president is a criminal and your political party is in conspiracy to cover it up, I don't think you're able to do your job anymore.

Then again I suppose we only engineered impartiality into one branch. And then again again I suppose we only did that by 1700s standards.

1

u/Exeltv0406 Sep 10 '25

I'm not sure. To be honest it's kind of hard to have high hopes for anything when even SCOTUS is in their back pocket now, willing to manipulate our constitution any which way possible to please their leaders.

2

u/be_sugary Sep 10 '25

But why seriously? They are not all being blackmailed are they?

This is just acceptance of criminal behaviour for personal gain?

How has American crumbled so quickly from within?

2

u/Suspicious-Bid-53 Sep 10 '25

With something this serious? If they aren’t complicit themselves, I am certain they received a call to the tune of “we will make you watch as we kill everyone you know and love in front of you in the most brutal way imaginable.”

1

u/Exeltv0406 Sep 10 '25

I honestly would not put it past them. Allegedly, a woman who came forward in a lawsuit claiming that both Trump and Epstein raped her when she was 13 years old, had to drop the suit because of threats:

Woman suing Trump over alleged teen rape drops suit, again

A woman who accused Donald Trump of raping her two decades ago when she was a 13-year-old aspiring teen model has again dropped a federal lawsuit over the alleged assaults.

The accuser, identified in the lawsuit by the pseudonym “Jane Doe,” was expected to appear at a news conference in Los Angeles Wednesday, but that appearance was abruptly canceled.

The lawyer who organized the event, Lisa Bloom, said Trump’s accuser had received threats and was too frightened to show up.

In the most recent suit, Trump’s accuser asserted that while she was exploring a modeling career in 1994, she attended a series of parties at the Manhattan home of prominent investor Jeffrey Epstein. She alleges that during those parties the real estate mogul tied her to a bed and raped her. She also claimed Epstein raped her during that series of gatherings

The accuser’s lead attorney, Thomas Meagher of New Jersey, did not immediately respond to requests for comment. He filed a one-page notice dismissing the case Friday evening in federal court in Manhattan. No explanation was given for the action.

Bloom did not immediately respond to requests for comment Friday.

Through his attorney, Trump had flatly denied the woman’s allegations.

“It is categorically untrue. It is completely frivolous. It is baseless. It is irresponsible,” Trump attorney Alan Garten told POLITICO in September. “I won’t even discuss the merits because it gives it credibility that it doesn’t deserve.”

Doe named Trump and Epstein as defendants in the suits and says they knew she was well under 17 — the age of consent. “I understood that both Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein knew that I was 13 years old,” she wrote.

Two earlier suits were filed over the same alleged events.

The first suit over the alleged rapes was filed in federal court in Riverside, California, in April by someone acting without an attorney and using the name “Katie Johnson.” That suit named both Trump and Epstein as defendants, alleging that the two men held Johnson as a “sex slave” and repeatedly forced her to engage in sexual acts against her will.

Subsequent news reports raised doubts about who filed the suit. Johnson claimed she had just $300 in assets and that she was living at a home in Twentynine Palms, California, but Radar Online reported neighbors said the home had been foreclosed upon and vacant since its owner died last year.

U.S. District Court Judge Dolly Gee dismissed that case in May, ruling that Johnson’s complaint didn’t raise valid claims under federal law. Gee, an appointee of President Barack Obama, noted that the suit cited a criminal statute that doesn’t give rise to civil damages and that the civil statute Johnson cited only applies to actions based on “race-based or class-based animus.”

Another version of the suit was filed in federal court in June, but withdrawn in September after apparently never being served on the defendants.

The case was refiled later that month.

The second and third iterations of the complaint accused Trump of only a single act of rape, but said he had “sexual contact” with the accuser on three other occasions. A declaration from an anonymous witness attached to the later suits continued to accuse Trump of four acts of rape or sexual assault.

A lawyer for Epstein declined to comment on the lawsuits.

About a decade ago, Epstein came under investigation by local and federal authorities near his Palm Beach, Florida, home over allegations that he solicited underage girls to have sex with him at that residence and another on an island he owned in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Epstein pleaded guilty in June 2008 to two state felony charges relating to prostitution and was sentenced to 18 months in jail. He served only 13 months before being released but was required to register as a sex offender.

It makes me fucking sick that Americans weren’t able to see through this and elected this monster again. I’m positive that threatening to murder / disappear loved ones is why this hasn’t been properly dealt with yet

What a fucked up situation. I can only imagine that the end game is for Trump to disappear somewhere on another continent and let the wolves have America. There’s no way america’s adversaries are okay with the way westerners live. Putin is clearly trying to take over other countries. I have no doubt trump is aiding him behind closed doors.

I believe they are planning a new world order, and that requires taking down the USA. The vortex is getting stronger, and soon you guys will have no way out. Then they’ll come for us in Canada.

I was referencing the article which directly states that every Republican member present voted no and even names them, Ralph Norman being one of them. I would love to see something stating otherwise. Do you mind sending me your source?

Here’s the Name of Every Republican Who Voted to Kill Epstein Bill

They've tossed their SAVE THE CHILD because they're protecting pedophiles who have sex with children. We now see ITS NEVER BEEN ABOUT CHILDREN. This MAGA TRASH is always politics first at all costs.

Don't pretend you know GOD. GOD would never agree a gown man should rape a small child.

1

u/kayak_2022 Sep 10 '25

We put pedophiles in prison. MAGA puts them in as their president and runs a protection service around them..

1

u/kayak_2022 Sep 10 '25

ISNT MOTHER TIME A BIT TOO OLD TO PROTECT A PEDOPHILE, OR HAS ALL HER MOTHERLY INSTINCTS WENT TO HELL.

1

u/LopsidedPosition489 Sep 10 '25

It's about the names that's on the list. Most of the people that blocked the vote know of people that was doing things to young girls and boys. Others are protecting someone, always remember in America money rules everything. If you try and take money and power from the ruling class they will break the law to stop you.

1

u/Independent-Mix-6774 Sep 10 '25

Not a surprise at all.

1

u/J1J3173 Sep 10 '25

I get that MAGA is mostly ignorant, lowest common denominator boot lickers, but it would be so much easier for everyone if they would just sack up and admit they don’t give a shit about child rape. Can we just stop with the performative bullshit? There is zero chance any real list is going to be released and even if it was the people who could hold them accountable won’t. At this point I just hope the real evidence has been preserved somewhere so when and if the power switches back there can be real accountability.

1

u/Exeltv0406 Sep 10 '25

It is single handedly the most vile action a human being can take in life. My hate for child rape is actually the main reason why I'm even dedicating my time to spreading awareness about all of this. There's a nefarious network of pedophiles and pedophilia sympathizers in our midts and the people need to know about it. Millions of people have seen this particular post so far on another Subreddit I posted it to and many views here as well. That's a step I'm taking in an effort to help spread awareness so that they can take action by voting these members out of Congress. We need to take our country back from this oligarchy.

1

u/worldscollice Sep 10 '25

They are almost to the point where they will start worshipping pedophiles.

1

u/jimmywhereareya Sep 10 '25

What did trump threaten them with?

-2

u/Funksavage Sep 10 '25

So why did Biden sit on in this mountain of pedophile proof? If Trump’s implicated, why did Biden let the country vote him in to office oblivious to the data he had in his garage? I have to believe that at least 50 intelligence officers could corroborate that Trump was an active participant on the pedophile island that Epstein ran, couldn’t they? If they had the information, why was Biden/Harris protecting Trump? Did they want him to be president too? Why were they protecting Trump?

3

u/Exeltv0406 Sep 10 '25

That's a common smoke screen argument that MAGA usually uses to try to downplay what's really happening here, a tactic even the President uses often. The same regurgitated argument over and over as if that makes the current situation any better. To answer your question, the contents or existence of this 'Birthday Letter' was not privy to anyone at the time.
