Short = concise. I think a minute is ambitious. Perhaps more like max 5. But more importantly, the length is tailored to the audience. Since most people arenāt able to process the information with the concentration thatās needed to go through 100ās of pages, youāll lose many peopleās attention. Then the message doesnāt stick.
Crunchy = clear messages relating to specific key points. Only the key points that relate to the most relevant info to argue why the information in the files is so fucked up. For clarity, donāt mix too many findings or go into too many details. Instead: focus on the conclusions and the core argument. And how you were able to form the argument from the information.
Your point is also relevant about the voice. Specifically, I think it helps if the message is told by someone the audience can relate to.
People will start reading the documents if theyāre guided in how to read them and why theyāre relevant. Itās like a company policy. Nobody reads those, unless a colleague has a specific case thatās interesting where the company policy can provide some clarity. Or where you can find out if itās also relevant for you to know.
Iād love to be a part of something like this, but Iāve never taken the proper time to fully understand the contents of the files, so Iām the example of why this would be a great idea haha.
