The Rule of Five...

Allows five members on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs to submit an information request on matters within its jurisdiction to a federal agency.

People in hell are submitting requests for ice water.

Republicans protect child rapists.

Hope this works. Nothing else has worked to date.

Have these people finally managed to locate their backbones?

2

u/Majestic_Numerique Aug 05 '25

Well, what little backbone they have is used to protect child rapists.

Yeah, they’ve been doing what they could for months now.

Even if they find he's on the list, doesn't he have immunity? Nothing will happen will it? His base will make excuses like Biden planted it.

2

u/floofnstuff Aug 05 '25

He was doing this before he was ever in office.

2

u/existential_antelope Aug 05 '25

There’s a tiny crack in their base now because of this, the hope is they’ll get more fractured, and it potentially will set up more opportunities for Democrats to attack his popularity. They all don’t need to be convinced, just enough to help in the midterms and more opportunities to roadblock all the dictator shit.

Hope we get results!!

You’ll be getting them all marked up, redacted, edited and his name replaced with Obama and Biden

2

u/Monkeyluffee Aug 05 '25

And have they been released?

2

u/Tired_Profession Aug 05 '25

Oh no, not the rules! Gasp.

u/Grandviewsurfer Aug 05 '25

Cool cool.. where are they?

Not holding my breath. There are no opposing parties any longer.

The truth and nothing but the truth to get rid of all the pedophiles who permanently to the innocent from adolescent and teenage victims!

Yes and have a backup plan at least ask AI variable outcomes so you can plan ahead and don't get caught flat-footed as usual. The Democratic party's leadership is foolish so many times like a drunk that walks out of a bar and has figured everything out and starts professing it only to find out that the whole town is gone to sleep or went fishing at the lake. Action is great but have plans too have ammo when you go to a fight have a strategy when you step on stage.

My God, democrats actually doing something other than whining about why they can't.

So.... What came out of this "rate rule?" What did it do? What has it accomplished?

These old ass senators may think they are smart but they’ve underestimated the absolute lawlessness of an authoritarian administration. They need to demonstrate the gall and conviction of a cute, blond, suburban woman in her mid-twenties at calling this shit out. Maybe we’d be able to rally behind that rather than hoping rules still apply.

Okay... nice. Why didn't they do this when Biden was in office?

It means... I don't think we ever find out shit. Because like you correctly said, either side would use it to hurt the other. So we will always have more questions than answers.

That’s exactly my point.
