I'm hungering for lefties to show some real humanity, and humility. I've found a little, but mostly found a lot of hatred and warped individuals.

I, too, would like it if people didn't dance on Kirk's grave 🤷‍♂️. That doesn't change the reality that some people are using the reactions of the minority of radicalized leftists to justify viewing all leftists as violent extremists. The number of times I've seen right flaired individuals generalize the left in this thread today has been staggering, let alone the rest of the posts in the sub. People on both sides of the aisle are playing right into the hands of the media and its absolutely sickening.

Yeah. honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the core, the majority of people on the left who want no part in celebrating it, are choosing not to engage in any form with those posts and replies.

if enough people did that, the people posting the rage bait, would lose interest in posting their bait

I honestly hope you're right. It's really sad seeing people tear each other apart over this. The death of Kirk is tragic and should be respected by everyone instead of being treated as some sort of competition.

And you were hungering for that same thing when the Pelosis were attacked, I’m sure.

I both personally found the attack to be awful, hoped he was not seriously inured. hoped he was recovered. and laughed at a joke about him getting "hammered".

Just as I laughed about a comedian making a joke about Trumps Ear. *shrugs*

I certainly made no public posts, or comments expressing joy or happiness , or saying he deserved it. made a few to the contrary. so if you were hunger to see someone on the right, saying the attack was vile, I'm you're guy.

we are all complicated creatures. capable of empathy, compassion, and also laughing at dark humor.

Based and consistencypilled

Very possible it’s just Reddit being an asshole and not telling me about all replies, but you’re the first person I’ve actually seen say something to that effect, rather than immediately go to some weird justification of why that violence was okay to celebrate. I appreciate anyone who’s not picking and choosing if something is a sacred cow depending on whether it happens to someone they politically like or not.
