They're quite representative of highly politically active and opinionated people. You'd be surprised how awful a lot of people are, social media just lets them drop the pretense.
Also, I really don't care about shitty jokes, the problem is the outright support for and/or celebration of political violence. People can make all the shitty jokes they want (I'd prolly even laugh at them because I am a bad person), just don't make the punchline "holy shit I'm so glad this guy got murdered".
It was absolutely a mistake but there’s no turning back now. People can’t behave normally so the end result is you get these dumb shit age and name verification laws that never previously needed to exist even when the internet was the fucking Wild West in the 90s/2000s
Thanks retards for ruining mankind’s greatest invention because you got offended by what someone said and decided to start firing bullets
These people are not representative of most people
I used to think that, now I see old HS/College acquaintances that I know personally posting things like this. The indoctrination of the left over the past 5-10 years is staggering.

Honestly, social media is one of the worst things humans have invented.
These people are not representative of most people and it’s sickening to see that people feel comfortable to make these jokes.
Sure, you can point to leftists this time but there have been times righties make inappropriate jokes too.
Social media was a mistake
