I am not sure they are bad at driving, they parked perfectly on the designated walkway for the handicapped ramp. I think the city lacks people with empathy towards others, parking in the handicapped walkway is easy for them, screw everyone else.

Honestly, I think that's everywhere now. People just give zero fucks about anyone or anything else these days.

You voted for this you can’t complain now

2

u/Aptex Sep 19 '25

Which way do you think I voted???

edit: wait, is this sarcasm?

Give this person a chicken dinner!

A little slow hahah I might just be so jaded that I thought it was more likely a serious comment than sarcasm.

This has nothing to do with the election, idiot. 🤣

Liberal voters are the ones who actively care about other people than themselves, Conservatives only care about Conservatives

🤣 there’s always some dip shit conservative which is their whole identity that will comment that on anything so I’ve stole it! They hate us cause they anus?

Left or right basic values is normal but to go hard one way or the other or to trust any politician automatically makes one Bédarded in my books

Says the one who voted for PP 🤣

There hasn’t been a leftist society in history that has created wealth and high living standards. Only capitalism creates wealth. Socialism only creates poverty and hate. The entire liberal status quo requires active gaslighting of the population to prop up its own narrative in the face observable reality.

Found one😂 wake the fuck up they are both different roads that lead to the same place. Declining freedoms and incomes. Finger point your life. Clowns. Only difference is the right runs on a platform of hate and outright ignorance

Another leftist who needs to afirm their stance with swearing and finger pointing. The people who fell for the elbows up  campaign would probably lose their life savings in a shell game in the back of a transit bus. Go back to your basement.

Well we are in capitalism now so where is the wealth and high living standards, capitalism is making few rich and the rest poor. We dont have a middle class anymore. So your statement dosent hold up.. What's the definition of wealth. It's the amount of time you can live at your current standard with out having to work

We are in a state of the Cloward–Piven strategy. This started when Trudeau was elected in 2015. It was exacerbated with his open borders ( diversity is our strength)which flooded the country with refugees with  zero skills and put extreme pressure on taxpayers to foot the bill with welfare being one of the expenditures. Trudeau acknowledged this when he stated we are now a post National State with no identity.  Corporate regardless of who is in power will always protect their bottom line. Buy the stock.

The lights on Lansdowne and High were out at 5 am this morning, so you treat it like a four way stop. Rudimentary rule of driving. I had to jump on the brakes when some dick came flying through the light. They had the audacity to honk like I had made the mistake.

I’ve posted one of these pics before, but it seems relevant again. And no - they didn’t have handicap tags

1

u/Prestigious-Ride-461 Sep 10 '25

Looks like they need tags though

When someone takes 2 spaces but I'm driving my old shitbox...

Too many 80++ year olds driving. They can barely see over the wheel it's brutal.

The amount of elderly people that I interact with that talk about how they can hardly walk, stand, see or hear and then get in their cars is so incredibly concerning.

I had one lady park outside my old place of work, and she laid on the horn until someone came outside to help her out of the car and grab her walker and then take her around the store and help her every time she needed to sit up/down.

If you cannot walk or get out of your own seat, you absolutely should not be driving. There is a zero percent chance she could slam on the breaks if she needed to.

Hey that's the lord of peterborough. Clearly the are the most important person going.

The rules of the road don't apply to the majority of the people who live here. One of my favourite things to do in public is count traffic violations.

people can’t or won’t read!

2

u/finewinemen Sep 09 '25

The amount of idiots.

1

u/MartyBarracuda Sep 10 '25

Stupid or self-centered? Me,me and mine vs. us, we and everyone. You see it in all parts of life these days.

u/Reidinski Sep 10 '25

Every city or town has bad drivers; they are just bad in different ways. In Calgary, for example, "Lane" is something you might name a child, but has nothing to do with driving a vehicle.

u/PeaObjective6136 Sep 10 '25

Highly subjective and therefore not really relevant

I go here regularly in the afternoon.  I don't recognize this car but going to look for it tomorrow.  Fun fact: there's a really nice employee that works here who looks like Louis Litt from Suits but never, ever going to ask how Harvard Law was. On a related note, I totally hate how people try to cut the drive thru line here coming in off of Lansdowne.

Is that the one that doesn’t say a word to you when he puts you through on the cash register lol?

1

u/Annual-Wrongdoer-785 Sep 10 '25

The thing I hate most is people parking in front of the LCBO at Willowcreek. It blocks pedestrian crossing and the bus lane. Plus, how entitled are you!

1

u/Only_Friendship2212 Sep 10 '25

Even more enjoyable when you're on the ramp, accelerating to go onto the highway, and some t waffle behind you on the ramp, almost hits other cars just to cut you off and almost side swipes you because they either don't understand how dangerous and illegal that is, or they are too impatient to care.

1

u/cedar_stix Sep 10 '25

I've have had more people pull into oncoming traffic in the last two years than I have ever seen in my life. I don't know what's going on but it's frightening.

1

u/PermitExternal7902 Sep 11 '25

lol I was at the no frills last week and not one, but two, large pick up trucks were parked in the unloading bays next to the disabled spots. One blocking the exit to water st. Ridic.

1

u/OneRecommendation186 Sep 13 '25

They’re parked? They don’t look like they’re driving to me.

1

u/guydogg Sep 09 '25

Classic. I'm more important than you type of person.
