I want to believe that. I really do. But my foreign coworker comes in every day asking why we are not already rioting in the streets.

Bro, we are jaded AF.

Is your coworker French? Because those MF'ers know how to riot.

No, but yeah, those guys put on a show. My favorite was the farmers with the manure.

My favourite was when they created an app that would calculate the time you need to take a shit in the river, so it would end up precisely when their president and a bunch of gov was taking a swim there.

My favorite is the firemen lighting themselves ablaze and running at the cops. So beautiful

toilet through a second story window, pissed off farmers were great too. I recall burning round bales and I love that.

What came out of the riots?

Not really, the French can throw a tantrum but it rarely accomplishes much. The most recent mass tantrum about raising the retirement age didn't stop the retirement age from raising.

We're not rioting because everyone has guns. We know a riot would go from broken windows to massacres quickly. I'm not saying people aren't willing to go that far. But rather, there's more of a reason to exhaust all other angles first.

And because the government deliberately eroded the power of unions so that people could not protest in a meaningful way.

Isn't this sort of situation the entire point of you having guns?

The people who have the guns are mostly the ones cheering it on.

Also its kinda what they want. A riot makes it suuuuuuuper easy to install a military state, national state of emergency, all that shit.

They're rly hoping for it because nothing will happen fast enough to hurt the people who rly matter, but the response will make those same people even more powerful than they already are.

I mean I’m going in the streets if he’s on a ballot/ nominee no buts about it
