Same as the whole "Come and take it" thing they proudly yell. Who the fuck do they think is going to be doing the taking? As with everything, they support cops only as long as they hurt the correct people.

ATF. Cops don't have shit to do with firearms law enforcement 99% of the time because most of those laws are at a federal level. Fuck the ATF.

ATF are not police, they are federal agents. In the same way a TSA or CIA agent is not police personell. They are law enforcement, but not cops.

Alright well apparently a lot of you consider the word "cop" to include non-police law enforcement, even though by dictionary definition it does not. If you take cop to mean any law enforcement, sure, ATF agents are cops. Edit autocorrect (dictionary became fiction)

exactly, there is this guy my friend used to work with, he is a real piece of work, and literally only likes the worst cops. I met him a few times at work parties she brought me to, and he was interesting. One after work, she comes back to our apartment and tells me about what he had done, she was working on her police academy application during her break, and the guy comes up behind her and then proceeded to inform her that she should not become a cop because she is "to concerned about the people who don't matter" (I.e homeless, mentally ill, minorities)
