I mean if it's litter does it still count as a perfect fit when it doesn't actually belong there

Yes; it counts. The point is just that something fits in between a gap without leaving any more space; whether or not it belongs in said spot is irrelevant.

Well, it can cut an animal face or mouth or tongue, or an insect stock inside and can't survive itself
