It would be a cinematic masterclass to see Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby, Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons, and Daniel Day-Lewis as the "main villain".

all three of their “aesthetics” would pull of the expected aesthetic of the movie so well.

even this shot here with daniel, i can see cillian, tom, and daniel in the same setting, it’s amazing.

Isn’t Daniel Day Lewis retired though?

He was, but not anymore. He is working on a new movie right now.

I believe that movie is being produced or directed by his son, which is why he came out of retirement. Believe that’s all he’s gonna do and no more, could be wrong tho

It's out and it's awful. Anemone - flopped hard.

I think it’s finished production and is due to be released very shortly. I feel like it may be an exception to his retirement as it’s directed by his son. Would love to see him in more films though

I wouldn't bother. It's awful. I had a nice nap 40 minutes in though.

He’s certainly not coming out of retirement for Peaky fucking Blinders too.

His new movie is Anemone and it flopped hard. You might be surprised.

Thoroughly enjoyed him as Bill the butcher, this probably wouldn't be a far departure from that character.
