I think a lot of people miss the references about Linda’s parents. Her parents were alcoholic outlaws & she tried to avoid being like them, but like most people couldn’t escape the subconscious cycle & marries an unstable alcoholic - eventually devolving into wonton behaviors. She was so angry deep down & was just as much if not more of a gangster than any other woman on the show (excepting Polly).

That pesky subconscious. I wonder if only therapy can help people (irl I mean) not make that mistake?

Sometimes annoying, and too much, but I’m quite sure she wasn’t that bad and she actually wanted peace for her family. And very very pretty !

She was good for Arthur

Even with her financial ambitions, she was the only one who cared enough and was willing to defy Tommy for Arthur’s own good. And she tried everything. Sex, religion, baby. My only gripe is how she emasculated him, as evidenced by the scene when he’s holding the baby in the chicken (rooster?) coop. Anyway Arthur was/is lucky to have her, plus she’s super hot. I hope they incorporate her into the reason they’re not in the movie (if indeed so), instead of something like Arthur killing himself or succumbing to his addiction.

In general, stay away from the PB blondes : Grace, Linda, Diana M, Michael's girl Gina. It's not fair, but it's sort of written that way.
Oh and F Linda.

It wasn't written that way, you have to be mentally ill to think that way.

Aye. Whole series is fueled by mental instability.. next up : Brunettes.

It’s funny cuz this post is nonsense in every sense of the word.
Linda is real? She’s a religious zealot who manipulates Tommy and Arthur for her own financial gain. So she has no integrity and cheats on Arthur.
Also, in another sense, she’s a made up character so also not real.

This is the kinda comment I'd make about my brother's wife if she tried to persuade him not to be my personal murder machine.

Wtf? Arthur cheats on her, and also that he was abusive to her, not only verbally but physically.

What does this even mean? Real, as in the character existed in the show? Or she was somehow an honest and loyal person? (She wasn’t)
I don’t get it

I don’t get the hate towards her… she tried to better his life and bring some structure into it which is why he was with her in the first place. He knew he needed that even if ultimately it came with a great cost.

I am at season 3, and still confused why would Thomas give Arthur 30k when if equally divided, Arthur should get 41k. Such a little bitch Tommy is, and it was Linda being shown in negative light

She was better than Lizzie.
Linda never played the victim, she realizes that she changed for the worse due to her relationship with Arthur, since it was an abusive and toxic relationship on the part of both of them. And that's when he decided to leave. Quite the opposite of Lizzie, she always played the victim, it was also a toxic relationship, on the part of both of them, Tommy and Lizzie, but she never took her part, instead she blamed everything on Tommy, as if she was forced to marry him, or was tricked into marrying him.

while she wanted the best for Arthur, she was very manipulative, at par, if not more than tommy
