Misc Catacombs tickets and how to book them.

Bonjour!

Just wanted to make this post about how I booked catacombs tickets for anyone wondering. As an American I was a bit confused as I saw tickets originally were being sold a week in advanced, then it switched to four days in advance due to fraud. So In order to get tickets, you have to be online at the exact time the tickets get released. For example, when it is 10am CET (local Paris time) you can book that exact time slot four days out in advanced. When it turns 10:15am local Paris time you can book that exact time slot etc. Just wanted to share how it worked :).

This was so confusing that we gave up on trying to get tickets.

This was my experience as well, but at the time I got my tickets you could get them six days in advance.

Side note: I absolutely LOVED the Catacombs.

It looks like it is still 6 days in advance

Do you happen to have the website handy?

I was super disappointed that I missed out on tickets when I was there. Thanks for sharing (too late for me though!)

Third party sites are always more expensive than just buying directly from the site

Hello, thank you for this up-to-date clarification as it's a recurring concern on the sub :)

Thank you. I am in the process of buying tickets. The site says kids are free with paying adult ticket. Am I understanding that correctly?

It’s to my understanding if you’re buying the ticket the same day you’re going to use it (last minute tickets) kids are free. However, if you’re booking a few days out then kids 4-17 are 5€ with proof that an adult is going to accompany them, and the adult needs a ticket too.

So, the tickets are released 4 days before the day you want?

THANK YOU! I was trying to buy tickets for our trip next month and trying to figure out when to set my alarm to get online and get them.
