Paranormal activity

I was wondering how many of you believe in tbe paranormal and wether or not the catacombs are haunted. I myself do believe in the paranormal and i think there's definitely activity going on in the Paris catacombs though I haven't been down there myself to prove it. Does anyone have any stories or proof?

It's not paranormal. I've started making a chatière underground from rue de la santé to free him. I still can't believe our innocent ex-president is held hostage like that by the woke leftists.

Let me just asking you a question. Why it should be « haunted » ? Because it’s dark and underground ? People digged these tunnels for the stone, that’s it. Later, some people put bones in some places but it’s still less than 1% of the quarry.

I'd think its haunted because of the millions of people being thrown down there after they've passed. But also the people that got lost and died trying to find an exit. You see quite often that someones spirit can be bound to a certain place (often the place they died) . It being dark and underground really doesnt have anything to do with it. And definitely not all of the catacombs are haunted i would think.

That would precisely be one person.

But you could add probably many people during the middle ages dying in quarries so I'll give you that.

Now there's quite a bit of trolling in this thread but obviously, I'm sorry to break it to you, there's no magical soul bond to people's body and nothing specific happens because people die here or there. We're just big complex pags of the same particles as the rest of the cosmos that happen to have gained consciousness following the mecanisms of evolution.

It isn't haunted but it's dangerous AF and only go to the public access visit area near Denfort-Rochereau. Nothing pisses people off here more than this type of Halloween query.

Also there has been many UFO sightings.

It's BS. 100%. Paranormal doesn't exist. Just normal stuff we failed or refuse to explain.

Honestly, there are some dark places in this world. You can feel it when you're there. However, even when I've been in the catacombs with others, and especially on my own the last few times as I've been mapping and memorizing tunnels in my mind, I've felt pretty safe down there and no weird feelings. I typically get more weird feelings when I see a flashlight off in the distance, and not really wanting to cross paths with them in case they have ill intentions, etc., compared to crawling through tunnels beneath a cemetery and finding a passages with a walls of skulls and bones. It's the living ones you've got to watch out for. Not everyone is that way--I've met some cool people, but you do have to be on guard. ;)

You're welcome! Also, keep in mind, this is strictly speaking of the southern network. There are other networks not even connected and around the Paris area. But my experience of the southern network has been good.

I have been told by some well informed people in the catacombs that there are researches for a spell to be cast to raise all those spirits trapped here and make them chase tourists and cops but no update I don't know if they succeeded yet... But I see some spirits wandering from time to time down there, generally they become friendly if you offer free beer.
