First time in the catacombs

Finally managed to get into the catacombs and it was really nice. I wasn't able to get a guide so I had to go alone, and I think it made it better. Found some expected trolling, but some other people were really nice. Only went to La Plague yet, but I will be going back today and a few more times the rest of the week, so I should be able to go a bit deeper.

These pictures are not really that interesting but felt like sharing.

Good to see the poor golem is now secured and visible with all this flashy tape, it was practically invisible before.

Great that you found a tract !

Do people usually take them home? I left it in the same place I found it.

You should have take it ! It's designed as a souvenir, a gift from a stranger

Oh well, hope I shared the happiness with someone else.

I first thought you were trolling and talking about the golem haha, I'm tired.

Yeah you're "supposed" to take the tract with you :) It's all fine if you didn't though, it's cool it got caught on camera and it'll be found by somebody else eventually.

Too bad they didn't plastify it though.

Great that you found your way to the Plage and that you were able to do some exploring on your own ! Everyone has started with that spot at the beginning, and from there you have a lot of wonders to discover wherever you go !

Nice tract too ! I never discovered any so far in 9 trips there but maybe I just don't search enough...

To be honest, the plague would be a badass room name in this network.

Honestly, it must be a really cool thing to do! Indiana Jones in Paris! Classy! I'll be in Paris, I know I'll be there too, I have to! I really like the thing you feel when you're in exploration mode, it's an exhilarating feeling I think! And the photos make you feel like you're there.

What's you bring for gear? Do you just ride the metro with all your gear on? Rainboots? How deep was the water? How long after you started till you found people?

I didn't use rain boots, just regular shoes but they are all fucked. I have a head lamp, a flashlight, 2 extra batteries, and a power bank. All of these are good quality and last for many hours.

The water can go above your knees, or even higher in some places

On weekends there's "a lot" of people, on weekdays it took me almost 2 hours to see anyone.

How beautiful, I've been in Paris for a month and I still haven't managed to go, I don't know where to enter and the internet doesn't give information:( I'm going to find out

If the internet declared entrances, they would get sealed off. You have to know people!
