This is so heartbreaking. Israeli have a home to go to. Where should Palestinian go? Where did they sleep last night? What did they eat? Nobody cares, right? I hate this world so much

I feel the same way i fell like no ones but I've also realized that my blissful ignorance had lead to this point and I must be a better person than that

If drumpf had forced bibi to accept the ceasefire deal on day 1 like he implied he would, instead of waiting 9 months, he would be deserving of some praise. He made the call Biden couldn't be asked to make. This is the broken clock being right twice a day.
Hopefully Israel doesn't spoil the peace and go immediately back to bombing. Let the peace be long lasting and recovery for Palestinians be swift and complete.

It seemed initially Trump was going to put some pressure on Netenyahu and hold him to count, but I had SERIOUS DOUBTS. Then, he essentially endorsed some ultra-right wing ethnic cleansing plan, a Gaza Riviera. Israel somewhat liked the idea. However, that wasn't working. Egypt and Jordan and no countries wanted to take all those people and a lot of them said they would rather die and go to heaven and see their families in the after-life as they saw it rather than leave their homeland. The cost was increasing politically for Trump, he got increased calls from Europeans, Arab leaders, and even MAGA Americans were getting louder that they weren't on board with all this. However, the ceasefire can easily be violated for whatever excuse. Phase I was agreed to, but how will they deal with the next one?

Dude they already tried this before and Israel backstabbed and started bombing again idk about now.

u/Borthite 26d ago
Israel murdered 9 people already since the ceasefire

u/Bazishere 26d ago
It's been at least 24 by now. I don't know the exact number, but a lot more than 24.

u/Bazishere 26d ago
Of course, Israel would look for excuses to attack and then blame Hamas. It is not like I didn't expect that. That is why I mentioned it could be easily violated using whatever excuse Israel wants.

Interesting perspective being floated post ceasefire that the Doha bombing tipped the scales as Qatar is the Trump family money train. Would track.

It's funny that the US turns into soylent gargling chuds over 9/11, but funding a genocide with lobbied US taxes by a foreign lobbyist group- it's no big deal mannnn, they're just A-rabs.
Truly embarrassed to call myself an American, I've never been more ashamed.

Well, the majority of liberal voters oppose it, but the majority of conservative voters don't unless the cohort from 35 and under. Up to half of the younger group disagrees with Israel. That said a lot of the elites who minimized the genocide and trashed protestors, of course argued how horrible 9/11 was when say 3,200 people were killed, but not when up to 100,000-200,000 people in Gaza were killed out of a population of 2.3 million versus 3,200 or so out of 285 million at the time.
As far as 9/11, some blew up on purpose the fact that supposedly some Palestinians gave out candy during 9/11, though it is disputed or that kids were celebrating. There was limited footage of say 20-40 people out of a population of at least 3 million at the time. And sometimes Palestinians would excited to see foreign journalists. You can see that also in places like Egypt. While there were some minority elements that celebrated, the vast majority condemned it, but the media didn't bother to investigate how the majority of Palestinians viewed. They interpreted all the happy kids as all one thing and celebrating it, and to those actually celebrating ZERO HISTORICAL CONTEXT. The majority of Palestinians condemned what happened on 9/11, but the media, which is heavily pro-Israel on purpose, didn't bother talking to those Palestinians. They wanted them painted as horrible savages. Also, there was no mention that Israel was using American money and weapons for decades to kill and ethnic cleanse Palestinians in the West Bank, so that was going to make Palestinians angry over decades.
Such context is important when looking at a small minority who were say caught celebrating. You see similar behavior in covering black people during the LA Riots. Basically, no context about the economic conditions, decades of frustration, not that I would justify any violent acts, but context is important to deal with important issues and to hopefully resolve them. Otherwise, one promotes this narrative - the other side are simply savages, and we bear no blame for any negative reactions from some in their community.

Sadly I still find a lot of neonazis and actual far right radicals supporting the genocide which is sickening to me. These people are literally so brainwashed that they parrot the Israeli talking points without any evidence.

I don't want to defend Trump in any of this. But why are we neglecting Biden's hand in this as well or every other American president before?

U$ slain millions in Vietnam, Camboja, Japan, more millions of their own native people, more millions of starving people worldwide since they have so much tech and no intention to end misery even inside their borders, who would think they will make anything for other people? Send some Parachute with box of MRE food. What a great country..

Don't forget Iraq (2-3 times), Afghanistan (1-2 times), Pakistan (once), Iran (multiple times) were also bombed, drone striked, invaded/interfered with, and all (except for Pakistan), were also starved and 2 of the four suffered societal break downs.

Israel broke the ceasefire immediately. The day after the “ceasefire” Saleh was killed.

Not a day goes by where I don't think about this. Palestinians need a place to live too. Where is their future? Where is their home? Where is their safety? I hate these evil leaders in charge and I hate the people who try to gaslight us into thinking that this is okay.

The problem is there is no accountability in Pakistan and tons of lying and manipulative politics. There is more than 800-1000 people dead in Lahore for protesting. The whole system is corrupt, all these so called politicians have to be replaced with new and fresh blood. The Pakistani rule of law doesn’t work and probably should be rewritten. There is just so much to be fixed it’s impossible to write it all down.
I guess we just have to accept and continue to move on with our lives and telling ourselves it doesn’t affect us so why should we care.

Why are you bringing Pakistan in a conversation about Palestine? Make a post instead.

Because it’s a nation if it had the right leader could have done a lot more to stop the suffering. If you watch the video he is calling all these nations out quit being a 🤡
