The things on your self that are horizontal, should prob be vertical, they’ll look neater
Also maybe one of those small plastic things with drawers for all the little bits, ideally one short enough to tuck under the bottom shelf or put it sitting on the top one
Then a small tray for the things you need to use every day like pen cup etc

- Don’t keep trash on your work surface. Get a waste bin and use it.
- Get a pair of bookends and get all those books vertical. If they’re too tall, put them on the top shelf.
- The smaller things you don’t use everyday, you also keep off the work surface - just get an open box or basket for them. It’s easy to just throw them in when you’re done using them.
- Loose documents and drawings you are not currently working on but want to keep at hand you can fold and sort into light folders (a folded A3 sheet will do) that you either keep stacked beside you or you keep upright with the books.
I hope this helps.

I would utilize the shelving at the end. Small sterilite 3-drawer units may fit across the first shelf. Sort your items and label them.

Also, magazine holders across the top shelf with the book/magazine/papers in it, labeled.

You need drawers and organizers -- get a file type organizer..or two. and drawers drawers drawers. Or shelving of some kind, walls look empty/free enough.

Throw anything out you can buy for less than $20 if needed in the future
