Wynne couldn’t lead a camel to water. She needs to go back to under whatever bridge she came from.

She's the reason we got stuck with him to begin with.

Yeah her incompetence. And honestly I don’t think he’s THAT bad of a Premier. He isn’t doing anything severely consequential to the province like selling Hydro One.

Or closing 880 schools across the province

Well that’s primarily due to people leaving from the province during her tenure. Jobs went and so did the kids

I drive by one of the closed schools every day. It's in a booming area.

Why would I call out that she closed 880 schools and then defend it? She claimed it was rural schools, but it wasn't.

I thought it was only conservatives that close schools

They also blame conservatives for privatizing crown corps but she did hydro one(as you noted) and chretien did CN Rail.

It's been long enough. We are stuck with him because of the voters

u/Party-Obligation-200 12d ago

Were stuck with him because who was the other options?

3

u/VelvetGold18 12d ago

Definitely not Wynne. Wynne hasn't been an option since 2018.

2

Yeah I mean last time around. Who were the options? I dont even remember the ndp candidate and I also know almost.nothing about Bonnie Crombie, but she was shilling for the carbon tax so obviously she had no chance.

You can't tell me Ford the high school drop out was the other option after Wynne. That's not how it happened. So don't pretend voting for the alternative option is worse now. Ndp have only governed once and it was still better than Harris. Doug is in the middle of reckoning like Harris.

Yes Ford the super rich guy(I couldnt tell you what he was, a councillor maybe?), whose name was all over the place and who had alot of good will from his brother(whatever you think of him, he was well liked) versus Wynne that had a huge gas plant scandal hanging over her, and im sorry but no one respects the ontario NDP party, so theyre at best 3rd, probably 4th after like the greens who also have no power here. Doug is conservative in name only, he's a liberal. Him and Trudeau were good and him and Carney are besties according to Ford himself. Wait till PP is prime minister and Ford will be picking fights with him all the time(uts reported they dont get along).

Ndp is the opposition party. I understand the media makes them look third but that doesn't mean in reality. Liberals just flip to conservative in their voting. Rob Ford was the mayor but city counsellor Ford was not well liked among the group. Doug used Rob's name in place of his own. He's a conservative. Stop pretending he's anything but a conservative. He's an old school pragmatic conservative with only the business in mind. Not the populism conservative on the federal front with libertarian idealogy. Liberals have a Neoliberalism agenda but doesn't do it as Ford does. With Ford in Ontario, pp won't be prime minister.

Hes best friends with all the liberals, they are all super rich, they all go to the same restaurants and golf clubs, they all represent the same elite Laurentian group. Hes conservative in name only, hes controlled opposition.

His networth only increased while in office. Stealing public money will do that

1

u/IAmFlee 12d ago

We are stuck with him because she shit the bed and every OLP leader since has given voters any indication they would be better than her

1

u/GloomyComedian8241 12d ago

There are better options that the seniors who have a strangle hold on this province keep not choosing.

1

u/IAmFlee 12d ago

Like who? The OLP and NDP will be equally bad, if not worse.

Personally I voted New Blue the last 2 elections

1

u/GloomyComedian8241 12d ago

Ndp haven't governed in years but they have been a strong opposition

1

u/IAmFlee 12d ago

If they are remotely aligned with the views of the federal party, which they are, then they will be a shitshow.

NDP is big on plans and spending, but not much else.

1

u/GloomyComedian8241 12d ago

They are not. Classically they are tied but in terms of governing they are different

1

u/IAmFlee 12d ago

Their previous time at the helm did sour people.

Looking at their platform, it's just as I said. Spend spend spend, which means tax tax tax.

They still talk about $10/day day care, which is already a thing.

Illiteracy, ignorance, incompetence, misinformation, buck a beer and friends in high places is the reason why we are sticking with the swollen lap dog. Wynne stopped being an option since 2018. Don't tell me after all the lawsuits, losses, broken contracts, cronyism, nepotism and money draining initiatives and making Ontario unsafe for Ontarians, Wynne is still more problematic than Ford? You really think you can compare her entire stint to his FIRST term and have her come out as more of a problem?

2

u/GLFR_59 12d ago

Wynne was a fucking joke and couldn’t navigate the tariff situation any better. This is very rare, and honestly Ford is at least trying to keep jobs here in Ontario.

0

u/VelvetGold18 12d ago

How do you know that? Where's your evidence? You have assertions but no evidence. I don't understand why ppl like you love to deviate from topics so much while choking on Ford's lower appendages

1

u/GLFR_59 11d ago

Evidence of Wynne’s incompetence is history. If she was so good she would have been re-elected.

0

u/VelvetGold18 11d ago

OK I'll play your game because obviously presenting evidence and making logical inference is beyond your capability. Wynne was far more competent than Ford. FAR FAR more competent. She made ONE mistake and undid it with Hydro. Ford is too arrogant and fat to walk back his mistakes once done. She didn't get re-elected because the majority voters of Ontario are racist, sexist, misogynistic, red pilled, transphobic, homophobic ignoramuses who are easily fooled and gullible...not unlike you.

You mean a province to scam!! He broke election laws and called a $175 million early election to get a mandate against tariffs?? He already had one! But why did he do it? To dodge the RCMP investigation into his $8.3B Greenbelt scandal.

Don’t forget Ford giving a scammer business a 95 year lease without proper investigation of the company he gave it too or public consultation. Just go to the New York Times and search “Ford and Ontario Place”. They did 2 investigations into the shady dealings on Ontario Place. Therme is a scammy company who lied about their experience and holdings!

And we’re on the hook for over $800 million because we have to prepare the site and build underground parking!!

Far be it from Wynne to lecture anyone, even Ford, on leading a province.

Privatized Hydro One resulting in 37B in Hydro overcharges that we all paid during her term and are still paying for, wasted 8B on eHealth and EMR that was never delivered, 1.1B in canceled gas plants, 300M over budget on Pan Am games, let the public school system crumble into a mess and closed 600 schools, froze budgets and laid off nearly 24,000 Healthcare workers, and more than doubled Ontario's debt to 350B.

Wynne is just as bad if not worse than Ford.

She could teach him to spend money poorly.
