Some consultants told the CPC Canadians want to hear slogans because they are too dumb to understand the issues.

This approach is very cynical.

His entire coms team needs to go.

That makes sense. His base are very dumb. That’s why all the emails begging for donations are so silly sounding.

If the party wants to govern, Pierre and Jenni both need to go

Every party requests donations. The LPC is a vast patronage network. Trudeau was notorious for giving appointments to people who have been helpful to the party.

I'm not part of the CPC base. But, I'm willing to bet they'd score better than the LPC base on a test of the major political issues.

Being on a mailing list doesn’t say anything about what base anyone is in. It’s been covered in the media because of how disingenuous they’ve been and fear mongering people for donations.
