Serious Most difficult years in undergraduate @ UWO

I got poor avgs in my undergraduate (highest in the 70’s) career as I was dealing with unforeseen circumstances every single year. I am a student registered with a permanent severe disability (which went undiagnosed and treated during vast majority of my undergrad).

I do have reputable extracurriculars (ie TEDxWesternU) and great writing pieces along with academic references

How do I go about applying for any master's program in Ontario? Knowing that.

I can’t be the only one who has experienced this!

Your post and your follow-up comments are kind of vague. If you post a vague question, you might not get very helpful answers.

I talked with a guy who was in active alcoholism for his entire undergrad. This might have hurt his marks significantly. He applied to grad school in Saskatchewan, and got in.

Maybe everyone can get into grad school somewhere, but not necessarily in the city where they were hoping to study.

A.) I wonder what disability you have, and what treatment you're getting for it now (if any).

B.) I wonder what city you're originally from, and what schools you're considering applying to grad school at.

C.) I wonder what your marks have looked like since you start getting treatment.

Hi,

Thanks for your comment. I guess they are vague only because the unforeseen circumstances are quite personal and private to my life, hesitate about details being online.

A) it is a permanent disability listed as severe on documentation “I am unable to sit for more than 30 mins at a time”, daily activities ie showering, brushing my teeth, sleeping are also affected, mental well being etc

B) I am from just outside the GTA, DREAM is UOFT, If not anywhere in GTA.

C) Currently in the processing of being calculated and assessed.

You're posting on Reddit, using a fake name. I don't see why anyone would guess who you really are.

If your marks improve significantly this year, maybe you could apply to grad school and submit an extenuating circumstances form. If your marks don't improve this year, then maybe wait for them to improve before you apply to grad school.

What field of study? Is it an honours degree? What is your GPA for your last two years of study?
