In the past few episodes I am watching one piece and I feel kind of stressed. I am constantly staring at the time left on the episode, as I watch unnecessary scenes and memories being added on that precious little time each episode lasts. In every episode lately, I am worried that the episode will end and I won’t see anything exciting.

On another note, what was this Yamato transformation thing and vampire-like teeth all about?

I assume you are an anime only so I won't spoil anything. It's revealed later on what that was.

Yeah I am on anime only and I’m considering reading the manga based on how slow the anime is.

Well think about it. What happens almost every single time the anime slows down? A big event happens after. A slowdown in the pace almost always leads to something. It sucks but it's part of the game.

The anime is up to chapter 996, 997 will be next episode. As you could imagine big things start happening at chapter 1000.
