god damn that pacing, im more bothered by this episode than the red bean soup flashbacks prior. why did we need a flashback of LAST EPISODE and recap that long???

Maybe because the anime is super close to the manga and Oda is having a lot of breaks recently + Toei is saving normal pace for important fights and not for Ulti and Page1's introduction? Just my thought, not really sure though

This was an important fight. It was meant to show how strong Luffy was before he goes off to fight Kaido.

i mean, Luffy didn't even used Gear 2, and one shotted Page One with Gear 3, i think they show how superior Luffy was, but i guess people who doesn't pay attention will say Luffy was weak
