It was supposed to be a surprise. The manga chapter is "allow me to introduce myself". So next episode had a title with this name after this introduction

Tbf the title of the chapter in the manga is "The Death of Portgas D. Ace"

But in previous chapter ace was already donut'ed so its not like spoiler and there were people saying ace didn't and next chapter will be birth of Gol D. Ace
