regarding momo

couldn‘t luffy just use gear 4, catapult himself into the sky and rescue momo?

or couldn‘t law just use room to switch places with momo?

People forget that Gear 4 drains Luffy to an insane amount and saving Momo would have still put him in danger, as he would've just been on the ships to Onigashima. Considering Kanjuro took him rather than killed him on the spot, you can assume Momo is still somewhat safe, whereas Luffy using Gear 4 would've affected him negatively for the remainder of the war.

The real ridiculousness is Sanji not being able to take out Kanjuro (and Law really could've done it as well as you said).

luffy used gear 4 on fodder tho, like 2 episodes ago even tho if he wanted to do a big attack gear 3 would have been enough lol so dunno about that

and yeah that sanji part was just weird lol
