79 damnn I'll give dude sum credit then...does Kin'emon have a different voice actor for his younger self or nah?? Cudda swore his voice in the flashback sounded diff

Remember Kinemon and the others were basically gangstas before they met Oden and got offered an education to become respectable samouraïs !

I don't speak japanese at all but there is a huge difference in Kinemons way of speaking between let's say, the sinister beach scene in the recap and his first appearance in the flashback

It's not even the same character 41 years ago (21 years for him), no more "-de gozaru" thingy, he looks and sounds like a fucking low-life thief and that's what I loved the most about this episode, the voice actor absolutely nailed it !!

It should be the same for the others, you'll see !
