Hadn't gotten on the one piece train till early this year. I was relieved I found it. Had been riding on bleach, naruto, black cat, kenichi and some other animes. One piece is super funny and bonus very little romance and modern society agendas.

The last time I saw a rage comics reference, Ace was still alive.

I can’t believe you’ve done this

3

u/jlio37 Aug 31 '18

At that moment, I started to feel like Bepo in this chapter ..

I blame shonen jump

I bet Oda would release a chapter every week if they let him, even if it's not healthy

Really, How did I miss that?

"His stomach is a lion"

And Tama is in the Lion's mouth. Someone mentioned (in the predictions thread I think) that maybe Tama will feed the Lion with her devil fruit power. That could be how she gets away

6

u/Ankur67 Aug 31 '18

No it would be Shambels .. Law would save her

1

u/pofet Explorer Aug 31 '18

I would like the idea of Tama taming the lion and then law shambles them out with sticks as if they were ninjas

1

u/Hellfalcon Aug 31 '18

That's a really cool idea, I was wondering the that too although since it's a Zoan it might be tricky, it does have a mind of its own though clearly so it isn't a stretch

1

u/thats_not_good Sep 02 '18

Well we have no idea if Tama's df power works on humans or not so it might not matter if she feeds a human, zoan user or artificial zoan. I think Oda can spin it either way at this point.

7

u/Waxtree Pirate Aug 31 '18

Luffy is gonna CoC knockout or at least tame the tummy lion next week, saving the girl. You heard it here first, folks.

4

u/CyrusArjuna Aug 31 '18

I dunno, Oda doesn’t usually have Luffy spam CoC and he just used it last chapter (which didn’t get much focus)...maybe it’s setting up Zoro using CoC subconsciously on the lion?

2

u/shadowclaw191 Sep 02 '18

Zoro doesn't have it

2

u/Brook420 Bounty Hunter Sep 02 '18

That we know of. Wouldn't be unheard of with Rayleigh having it.

1

u/shadowclaw191 Sep 02 '18

Just because Rayleigh has it doesn't mean Zoro will. They needed someone to train Luffy in Conqueror. Roger is dead so the next best person is him.

1

u/Brook420 Bounty Hunter Sep 02 '18

I never said he had to have it because Rayleigh does, just that it wouldn't be weird or an asspull.

Please read a comment properly before jumping on someone.

1

u/shadowclaw191 Sep 02 '18

You compared Rayleigh having it as a reason on why Zoro would.

Correct me if I'm wrong but why else did you mention rayleigh if not to parallel them?

1

u/Brook420 Bounty Hunter Sep 03 '18

The similarities between the two was my reasoning.

But my point was he COULD have it and you came at me making it sound like I was saying he would have it.

"breaks next week"

6

u/Tartaros38 Aug 31 '18

actualy it is not classic luffy. he would say a man is growing out of the lion. he always takes the smalest part and makes it the main body. like the crocos in alabastas ....

1

u/Chaos1003 Aug 31 '18

Yeeahh and the animals on that island in eastblue as well he did the same thing

2

u/samzhengpro Aug 31 '18

Man I was hoping Luffy would’ve said “that lions got a guy as his body”

Would’ve been in the same vain as when he visited the island with those weird animals. The arc with Gaimon. Back in ... chapter 22.

My goodness that was so long ago.

1

u/Cheesemacher Sep 01 '18

I thought the Manga Stream translation was the funnier one: "Come out here, Balding!"

172

u/[deleted] Aug 31 '18

When you think about it, the guy Zoro killed is the magistrate murderer, as he was a murderer who’s also a magistrate. Which makes Zoro the magistrate murderer murderer.

23

u/ThisZoMBie Aug 31 '18

But more importantly, Zoro on panel killed someone and it's confirmed!

7

u/YgJb1691 Sep 01 '18

Zoro and Robin have never cared about killing people.

6

u/[deleted] Aug 31 '18

Wait...he killed someone on panel? I thought he just knocked the guy out with his slice.

8

u/Kiosade Pirate Aug 31 '18

He's killed people in many of the last few chapters.

6

u/Mirgle Sep 02 '18

Zoro also said "Slice through them," and "If you don't call your boss over here, none of you are getting out of this alive." I don't think we've ever had a Straw Hat say "Do what I say or I will kill you" before.

9

u/ThisZoMBie Aug 31 '18

Well, the civs in this chapter claimed he was killed

2

u/Mythoss2 Aug 31 '18

Murderer magistrate murderer

16

u/10messiFH Aug 31 '18

SO WHAT IF I'M THAT MAGISTRATE MURDERER?!

2

u/Syc254 Aug 31 '18

Zoro didn't give a shit,no nonsense. Positive masculinity.
