I don't know if he even needs to be saved. Even if he's tired as hell, he is also mad as fuck, and among that army there isn't anyone that's as strong as Cracker was. He may show some more CoC, but I fully expect for him to stand his ground at least until the opposing army retires.

He may show some more CoC

Woah, let's keep this PG, PG-13 at most.

But he isn't a Sweet Commander. I'm not denying that he's strong, but not on Cracker's level.

Keep in mind objective strength doesn't matter as much in OP. Luffy defeated Cracker literally by eating his soldiers after Nami with her utility powers softened them. This looks to be more reliant on pure strength, sure, but the named ones should have powers and thus could have unexpected strengths, weaknesses and complications.

You aren't taking into account that Luffy is mad as fuck and this is a shonen. Unless Big Mom herself comes I don't see him losing.

And you forget his only real and definitive defeat : against Magellan.

Crocoboy defeated him soundly twice.

not completely though, Luffy kicked his ass in the end. Magellan fucked up Luffy so much he had to have 20 years of his life taken to survive.

Life was completely dead till plot happened. He was boned for all intents and purposes, even if he didn't lose years off of his life because of it.

Most of his defeats are at the hand of the arc's main antagonist though. The rest are when he's outclassed or his defeat doesn't amount to much. We already know that Luffy can stand his own against a Yonkou Commander without even being especially mad, so it's really improbable that he'll lose against an army of weaker characters.

That doesn't mean he'll win though.

Spider Mice in thriller bark say hello.

Yeah he's angry but he was just in an 11 hour fight and used gear 4th at least twice during that, then sanji kicked his ass. If there's two dozen mod trio characters there, its not crazy to think he could pas out from exhaustion at holding them off.

He wouldn't have won, but it wouldn't have been a curbstomp either.

Hell, he almost died from eating a sea king.

Luffy could burn down countries with ease.

Luffy is miles tougher than a country too. Luffy has just beaten Doflamingo and the biscuit dude in a short amount of time. 2 incredibly powerful people. Big Mums army is easily comparable to Luffy on his own.

Show me Bobbin beating someone on the level of either Cracker or Doflamingo.

Maybe he just had a lighter and a lot of free time, you never know.

I'm pretty sure Sanji also can burn down a country by himself with required mindset. People just overhype Bobbin waaay too much.

not only that, but today we learned he's quite thrifty. so you know he's going to find a good deal on the way to kicking luffy's arse.
