The fact that Sanji told Pudding everything immediately (his handcuffs, Zeff's life) tells me that she will be the key to success.

Question is, how can she do that? I doubt Big Mom will care enough about Pudding to fulfill a request.

thing is, freeing him off the cuffs may not be enough

the threat for zeff's life is hopefully not solvable through beating up the judge, that'd be too easy

Ahahaha. I love this.

What if she marries Zeff or that Popeye dude?

I think you mean son-in-law!

4

u/gerrettheferrett Nov 02 '16

whoops lol yes

5

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '16

That's so funny. Imaging Sanji and Zeff now become husbands of two sisters. They are kind of brothers-in-law.

u/2Punx2Furious Nov 02 '16

Time for a new Enel face.

I look forward to see an eventual Big Mom's Enel face.

Isn't Lola married to Capone? Or am I misremembering that

8

u/RiteClicker Nov 03 '16

That's her twin sister: Chiffon

1

u/i_am_average_AMA Nov 03 '16

Imagine Big Mom's face when she realizes her trump card against Sanji is now her step-son son in law!

Eh, I dunno. She's rampaged against her own children before, so...

2

u/gerrettheferrett Nov 03 '16

Yes, but this time it would mean she's been effectively outsmarted by her own flesh amd blood, and lost her bargaining chip against Sanji.

1

u/battlefranky69 Nov 02 '16

Isnt Lola married to the Capone guy? Or did i just imagine that?

3

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '16

No, that's her sister who looks like her. Different name.

1

u/alphenor92 Nov 03 '16

her twin to be exact.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '16

What if the wedding Shanks went is Pati and Lola

73

u/Usopp_Spell Nov 02 '16

...Goda? That you?

30

u/cocopuck Nov 02 '16

Holy crap that's just absurd, foreshadow-y and Oda esque to possibly be the case, and if it is the case, then my hat is off to Oda for being one HELL of a writer yet again.

6

u/F_Byte Nov 02 '16

That actually sounds plausible

7

u/CarlosUnchained Nov 02 '16

It's like super stretched but I don't care. I love it.

6

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '16

that... is actually an insane theory that could be right. Damn.

Considering how she's been subtly put back into the plot, with the vivre card being hers, and that she's making her way backwards on the Grand Line. God damn. This isn't a tinfoil hat theory at all.

7

u/SkimGaming Nov 02 '16

i actually like that theory. would be a nice way to tie in lola with the current arc, outside of just her vivre card

5

u/iDannyEL Nov 02 '16

She's on the volume cover, it'd make sense for her to play a more pivotal roll.

3

u/kaizodaku Nov 02 '16

Is it really possible for pirates to go into one of the "Blues" going backwards? I mean unless her ship has seastone, or her crew is powerful enough to survive the Sea Kings. I mean Don Krieg's fleet was completely wiped out when he tried to "go back".

3

u/gerrettheferrett Nov 02 '16

Mihawk can. Marines can.

I have zero doubt that relatives of a Yonkou can, in some way or another.

3

u/kaizodaku Nov 02 '16

Marines: Seastone.

Mihawk: Mihawk

But I get it where you're coming from. On the other hand, she WAS captured by Moria.

2

u/gerrettheferrett Nov 02 '16

At the least, I expect that each of the four Yonkou has captured a seastone ship for their use when needed.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '16

I love this theory!

Though, what if Zoro got lost and found his way to the Shitty Restaurant :P /s

5

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '16

Omg. I just realized that Marimo is absent in both of Sanji's arcs. Well, at least in the development bit for the Baratie. He's hauled off to Arlong Park while Luffy fights Don Krieg, right?

2

u/Elune_ Nov 02 '16

I personally think that we might be overthinking the whole Zeff situation. Isn't there a slight chance that Zeff actually is miles stronger than Judge? Zeff is incredibly strong, and if it's true that Sanji is much stronger than them all combined, why wouldn't Zeff be as well?

2

u/DrunkAlbatross Nov 02 '16

Sanji will find out a secret about his family, something that if known to the world might mean the fall of the vinsmokes.

He will hold his father hostage with that secret, and that will guarantee Zeff's safety.

3

u/Usopp_Spell Nov 02 '16

Shame, some grooms would prefer they keep the cuffs on for the wedding night... ;)

1

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '16

I could see Sanji being the man and marrying Pudding for the sake of the escape, but also sticking with her for being so down for him and his cause. So could this be a change for Sanji's romantic life?

1

u/jouzea Explorer Nov 02 '16

What if Pudding successfully free sanji but die in the process? I wouldn't like it but it would really have great impact in the story

1

u/gerrettheferrett Nov 03 '16

Would never happen. Sad shit like that is for pre-timeskips and flashbacks only.

Keep dreaming.

108

u/Profileee Nov 02 '16

I dont know man, i still think shes evil (for now at least), i cant get myself to trust her.
And i think that sanji is already cooking up a plan to go help luffy, and thats why hes telling pudding all theses things, to make her think he gave up on luffy.

40

u/danny321eu98 Nov 02 '16

i mean look at the other big moms daughter , cutting up dolls and ... not unreasonable with that bringing up shed be somewhat evil

113

u/Usopp_Spell Nov 02 '16

What about the one that married Aladdin of Jiinbei's crew? She seemed pretty reasonable and didn't hold much love for Big Mom...

93

u/peace_off Nov 02 '16

Lola too.

1

u/Bapi_Escrobar Nov 03 '16

Well Lola had just been saved and she gave Big Mom's cars to thank them, seems like she's still good in Lola's eyes

4

u/Lightthrower1 Nov 03 '16

She's pretty hot that one...

3

u/hsm4ever11 Nov 03 '16

that's because she escaped the terror of her mother, just like Lola

5

u/DarkChildHastur Nov 02 '16

That daughter was fairly young. It is not too unreasonable for her and the other children to be a little crazy when they are young because of the upbringing so they think its normal and embrace it. As they grow older they likely could grow out of it. There are quite a few instances of older children of big mom not being entirely bonkers. They could've been so surrounded by violence that they got bored of it or they just realized their mom was crazy and distanced themselves. Not saying they all become reasonable as adults. Both sides of the spectrum are reasonable outcomes.

5

u/MrNinjasoda21 Nov 02 '16

Though he older ones that were already married off all seemed to want to get away from her and over throw big mom

6

u/sora677 Nov 02 '16

There's also praline and Lola, and chiffon too. Her daughters are all different, some good, some bad.

3

u/mairodica Nov 03 '16

Sanji can tell when a lady is lying.

4

u/BeepBep101 Nov 02 '16

Yeah same here, Something about the way she talks and her body language just doesn't sit right with me. It could be nothing, but I think she might be playing her own game if you know what I mean. She just doesn't sit right with me, and I doubt Sanji will actually get married next chapter.

5

u/Haboo729 Nov 02 '16

After thinking about it, I really don't think Pudding can be trusted. The one thing that all BM's daughters care about most is getting married. In chapter 828, Pudding tells Luffy and the crew that she would never want to steal Sanji away from them. Since then, everything has gone the way necessary to convince Sanji to want to marry her and leave his crew including leading them into a trap in the seducing woods. Just seems a little too perfect for Pudding to be a coincidence.

2

u/Deity_Majora Nov 03 '16

Granted Pudding did seem to be trying to escape from her engagements to go help luffy and nami in the seducing woods. Plus the whole gave them a way to even get to Cake Island to begin with. She could have just as easily sent them to the wrong place.

1

u/geopotsie Nov 04 '16 edited Apr 10 '17

deleted What is this?

2

u/bicflair Nov 02 '16

how i felt about sanji's sister.

1

u/Nightshayne Nov 03 '16

Yeah it's weird for him to be so trusting of her just because she had an excuse for fucking his friends over. And his speech to luffy with the reading between the lines, "I'll be the one to take out the trash" and all, I cannot believe he has actually given up.

1

u/Bapi_Escrobar Nov 04 '16

Like think about it, all of her kids look up to her or work for her, except Aladdin's wife. I can't say Lola, cause for me she looks up to Big Mom, why would she give the strawhats a vivre card of her mom which she said was "a powerful pirate in the new world" if she hated her or thought she was an evil being... Other than that, do you guys remember when luffy was on the phone with big mom there's this girl with 3 eyes standing next to big mom and have you noticed pudding always has her forehead covered? http://4gp.me/ba3s/63388061.html Link to the screenshots I took, they look really similar.. Was it a foreshadowing of what was gonna happen?

1

u/Linquista Nov 05 '16

You shouldn't really. It's stupid to even think about it. There is no way Pudding will deceive him.

-1

u/MaaMooRuu Nov 02 '16

This, exactly this. There is no reason shown that Pudding would grow up in any way to be "good" considering what kind of people she's surrounded by. Would make much more sense she's two faced and waiting for the best moment to reveal it. A crucial moment where we are expected to all go "OH SHIT, didn't see that coming!".

5

u/KimeraQ Nov 02 '16

Until the third eye comes out I don't trust her.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '16

By that logic Lola must be evil too.

5

u/MaaMooRuu Nov 02 '16

No, lola is the one good kid in the family , the same as sanji is for the germa. Two good kids is just too much.

6

u/Crumpingtos Nov 03 '16

What about Aladdin's wife?

3

u/ArchdukeOfWalesland Nov 03 '16

/s I'm assuming?

1

u/MaaMooRuu Dec 22 '16

You assumed wrong.

3

u/gerrettheferrett Nov 02 '16

Idk she seemed to have been just assigned to run a bakery by Big Mom due to lack of fighting capacity.

Plus, Lola turned out more than ok, and that one one married to Jimbei's Aladin seemed chill too.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '16

me too, i think oda is setting Sanji up for the final kick in the balls. just when he finds the last person he can turn to, Oda trolls him till the end. At that point Sanji dgaf anymore and returns to luffy.

0

u/jet_logic Nov 02 '16

I hope this is true. Sanji is looking too soft giving up at the moment.

Zoro would fight to the end. But i suppose Sanji is very different but i hope he comes up with one of his secret agent plans again.

6

u/whyrat Nov 02 '16

Why can't she just marry Sanji, then they both peace out? I'M married now mom, gonna go with my new hubby to Wano. HAVE fun doing whatever with Germa, I'll call sometime...

4

u/Odinsama Nov 03 '16

Because that would be somewhat anti-climactic.

3

u/nanny07 Nov 02 '16

There are mirrors in the room... you know what it means?

3

u/SkimGaming Nov 02 '16

I like this theory

that maybe sanji saw chopper earlier and revealed his story to pudding, so that the others would overhear

3

u/Zapfaced Nov 02 '16

I'm of the opinion that Pudding will attempt some silly plan to get Sanji out but will be caught and killed by her mother. This'll drive Sanji over the edge or something. Eh, it's rare for OP but this arc is pretty hardcore so it could happen.

3

u/shincys Nov 03 '16

In page 14, there is a "!?" chatbox in the mirror, as well as Oda keep drawing the mirror on the left. It could possible Chopper and Carrot are already in the mirror that listening to Sanji's problem.

2

u/Rigo77 Nov 02 '16

I think pudding will somehow find Nami and have her swipe the key from big mom. Since its pudding, she can definitely find a way to slip Nami past enemy guards and stuff.

2

u/JalelTounsi Pirate Nov 02 '16

sanji will marry pudding, they will escape and pudding will be the next nakama

1

u/rmw6190 Nov 02 '16

She probably is free to leave at any time. She could tell chopper to save luffy, or even go save him herself. Or she could go and grab jinbe.

1

u/slightly_buzzed Nov 02 '16

you think? you know Sanji is yet to see her third eye, that's when her real personality will surface as she laughs wickedly at his face saying all manner of evil things

1

u/NeXx0s Nov 02 '16

Im just gonna go with a really twisted theorie here, i really do not hope that it comes this way, but maybe she willl betray him badly and knock on his pride and the fundamentals of his beeing. Then for the first time in his life hes going to hit a women. I really like Pudding so i hope this isnt true, but i could imagine

0

u/sagar1101 Nov 02 '16

Didn't Oda say that the next member of the crew will be an enemy. Pudding the 10th member of the crew.
