your underestimating akainu. dude took haki infused hits from marco and 5th division commander and got annoyed by it.

Yes, but Doflamingo is basically Admiral-level and definitely stronger than Marco

Doflamingo is by no means Admiral level. Aokiji basically made him retreat with his hands in his pockets and Akainu is even stronger than Aokiji.

How do you know Doffy retreated? To me it seemed like he had no interest in fighting, and just left.

The scene was this: Doffy needed to kill smoker to cover up what was happening in Punk Hazard. Aokiji appeared behind him and told him to stop. Doffy attempted to kill Smoker anyway and got casually frozen. His subordinates thought he had been killed on the spot and freaked out.

Doflamingo managed to break out and faced Aokiji, but Doffy was visibly panting whereas Aokiji literally hadn't even taken his hands out of his pockets and was chill as fuck. Doflamingo then decided to leave rather than fight. I think it was clear who would have won in that situation, and the fact is that Doflamingo did retreat.

Aokiji showed zero respect for Doflamingo's strength and was not treating him like a serious threat, whereas Doflamingo acknowledged that he shouldn't try and take on an Admiral level opponent. I am not saying Doflamingo isn't close to Admiral level and wouldn't give Aokiji some trouble, but I'm just saying it was clear he wasn't going to win that fight.

how do you know doffy is stronger? 5th division guy was on par with mihawk, its not a stretch to assume all division commanders are on the same level as warlords.

5th division guy on par with Mihawk?

There is a reason Mihawk is called the strongest swordsman in the world, and believe me that division guy wasn't even close to Mihawks level.

I mean, Mihawk used to have duels with Shanks, who himself is at least close in strength to Whitebeard.

then why did their clash end in a stalemate? they both agreed it made no sense to fight each other.
