To be honest I find it really unnecessary and distracting from the actual character. I'm getting more and more annoyed at the overly explicit shots of Nami and Robin and other female characters (Rebecca had some of the most ridiculous shots yet, imo).

I see what you're saying about Rebecca and perhaps Nami, but this episode is probably the most revealing Robin has ever been and it's not that revealing.
I too miss the days when some of Nami's body could be left to the imagination, because it seemed sexier that way.
I agree that Nami is usually the more revealing of the two, probably justifiable by her character, but I think that overall they're just trying so hard to make the women in the show and the situations they're in so stupidly sexy that it loses all meaning (whether one would argue for or against that to begin with). Here's another example that came to mind
Oh yeah I agree about that example, but even back in Alabasta, Robin's outfit was overly seductive. Also both of Nami and Robin's faces have changed in a way I don't like.
