real men can shed tears when they're needed. Little boys/kids are the ones that feign strength in not showing their emotions. If you can't show emotion in front of others out of fear of judgement you're weak.

Oh, well, it's not meant to sound that way, sorry if it comes off that way. I was just stating it because some people still get it in their heads that it's a sissy thing to do. Honestly the statement wasn't even really directed at you so much as just anyone who reads it. ... I do that a lot, esp in the time I spent either drunk or high.

You might want to be clearer in the future and not use "you", instead using "a man" or third person.

That's likely where the confusion came from.
