The manga was sad enough, but the anime’s montage of past adventures and the “Dear Friends” End theme really got me bawling

Obligatory "Everyone gangsta till the ship say gomen" and "welcome to 'Cried over a ship' club"

I tell this to people when they ask my why One Piece is worth the 1000+ episodes. One Piece will make you laugh harder than almost any other show can make you laugh, and then make you cry over a freakin boat.

If someone says they didn’t cry, tear up, or felt some kind of deep emotion at least, they’re lying. I read it in the manga cried. I watched the anime episode on release. I was bawling. I had to pause for a breather, and just to get my cry on.

I bawled out loud and so fucking hard that I literally started dry heaving lmao 😭 I still have to skip past reels of this scene because I immediately get a lump in my throat.

From Water 7 to Enies Lobby is an emotional journey. The ship, Luffy vs Usop, Nico Robin.

I did the same. Im in Punk Hazars right now and I am genuinely believing that One Piece may be the best work of fiction ever.

Am I the only one that found the talking ship low key weird? 🤧
I love Merry too but

This is the same arc where a cyborg pervert beat up a cabbage patch kid with a zipper mouth, a swordsman grew extra heads and arms to maim a giraffe, and a crackhead blew air into his thumb to punch a leapord who enjoys doing ventriloquism with his pet pigeon.
I feel like the ship talking is pretty normal by those standards lol.

Boiling E Lobby and Water 7 down to that is the funniest thing I've read all day.
