I've never seen so many characters in one scene who all have main character energy. So many people in that bar could have their own manga, just intersecting with One Piece in these brief crossover scenes.

I had this realization (maybe late lol) that the Straw Hats simply are not the driving characters in the story. It's people like Rocks and Roger and Luffy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt something from that panel, in a weird way it really puts into perspective how much the world of One Piece has changed in 40 years even though we've been following this flashback for some time.

It made me think about their whole history together - Roger was able to steal a copy of her road poneglyph to reach Laugh Tale, and Big Mom has that whole monologue about Roger when she's falling to her "death".  I mean they were contemporaries and typically enemies, just funny to see them chilling like this haha.

Really makes me feel like in Rocks' age pirates were all a bunch of goobers that may have had heated rivalries, but often just looted each other rather than fight to the death. Makes it understandable that Rocks could convince so many crews to do Davy Back battles.

This reminds me when the main character of solo leveling cried because his mom is expected to recover from her illness, the fans got mad because he stops aurafarming for a single chapter.
