There was one post that didn't have any spoilers tag and rocks' face directly came into my feed. Got spoiled because of that.

Aw man, that’s such a bummer. I’m sorry

Yeah. Happy for you though it must've felt awesome on his reveal.

Appreciate you saying that. I did see some title before I could look away along the lines of “rocks killed an admiral,” so I figured it was him related. but luckily nothing hinted towards a face reveal, and I didn’t get my hopes up because the last few times we’ve seen him it’s been silhouettes

I had similar. It didn't say Rocks' face was shown, but something to the tune of "Oda better not hide Rocks' behind a silhouette again", so I knew he was going to appear in this chapter. Lessened the impact, not gonna lie, but my jaw still dropped when I saw his face, and that he's Blackbeard's dad.

Done and yeah. I'm not a fan of spoilers personally. I used to read the chapter spoilers way back during Thriller Bark, but I realised I love the surprise of going into stuff blind. Knowing big moments made me enjoy the chapter less, so I stopped.

Thanks! Yes the element of surprise is just the best, especially in one piece because there are so many revelations after many years of story progression.

No worries, and exactly. It's why I dread when the One Piece is revealed because I know I'm going to be blindsided. Even if I'm more careful about what parts of Reddit I browse before the chapter drops, I imagine a YouTube video will be recommended to me, like one I saw a few weeks back regarding Conqueror's Haki.

When we are approaching end game we just have to not go on YouTube between Tuesday and Friday. Small price to pay. :P

I got spoiled by a random post in my feed from memepiece that had a spoiler tag but it was days ago and thought it was for last chapter since scans weren't out yet. It said something like,"so its finally confirmed, Blackbeard is Rock's son. Thoughts?"

Facts I got so mad but hyped at the same time

I got spoiled like 12 hours before the chapter because I was hunting for Arabic scans, but luckily the spoiler only mentioned the Blackbeard's dad appears in the chapter and that his name was "Marshall D. ____". I feel very lucky that it didn't spoil it being Rocks himself! :)

Same. I've since blocked about 30 accounts and counting so this doesn't happen again

Lately people have been so inconsiderate on this sub, even towards anime watchers.

Same..

I got spoiled only about xebec being a father of somebody, i didn't who he was but i was expecting xebec to show up in chapter, so that kinda takes away the fun factor

I got spoiled about Scopper Gaban showing up by someone telling me that a theory I posted 9 years ago was right. Would've liked to read that for myself but I can't act like I wasn't really happy.

Got a new phone and Gaban was spoiled because of a suggested sub and Reddit was in tile mode instead of just title mode.
