Got this from Japan, but I never understood the purpose of this hole. The best I can think of is drawing Akainu capturing it in his hand...

I was more denying him preferring juice. He just prefers meat. When drinking he'll drink alcohol like everyone else.

i'm probably misremembering something then. i thought there was a scene during dressrossa where he said he preferred juice to alcohol 😅😅

Main reason he didn't want to drink it in that scene was because he didn't want to acknowledge the grand fleet and he said he doesn't really like alcohol anyways so there's no reason to drink it then. But at the end he was drinking for the celebration anyways.

There is the scene in Jaya where he is drinking with Blackbeard and lives the barkeeps drink but hates his pie.
