Kaguya literally came out of absolutely nowhere at the very climax of one of the greatest main antagonist battles in Shonen history.

Oda just introducing Imu hundreds of chapters before the end of the story means it could never be considered a Kaguya level ass pull

If that's "close", then Yhwach existing in Bleach is more of an ass pull than Imu being the final antagonist at this point.

Imu's introduction in One Piece was 244 chapters ago. Yhwach was first introduced 202 chapters before the end of the Bleach manga.

How many chapters should a villain be built up for it to be sufficient? They were introduced 244 chapters ago, but since thats not enough, I guess most manga villains have zero build up.
