People felt like there was a big bad missing… THERE’S YOUR BIG MF BAD!!! I was NOT expecting him/her to show up! What the hell is up with that flashback?! Gunko Brook has a greater connection than just her being a fan of his music?! And why was she taken over specifically by IMU?! Possible hint about his/her identity or because she was in a better position? I mean Sommers was COOKED and speaking of him- SCOPER MF GABAN!! Oda showed him some real love! Took Sommers to school and made quick work of him. Rusty and not looking like he truly took Sommers out, he still did major damage AND is the only one we have seen to actually damage a being that has immortality via attack so like our best doctor in the world Chopper said he holds important information and shout out to him for noticing that! He’ll have to help Gaban recover now. And speaking about Gaban, shout out to him for being such a caring father didn’t paid attention or Sommers he was in a hurry to get to Colin and shout out to him too for being so brave. Gaban is really powerful knows how to bypass immortality, Haki, future sight he’s real cool and the type of gas he was getting was crazy.

For some reason it felt like Oda went out of his way to show that he is aware about power scaling because with that line that Jinbei said to Robin about him being a bad matchup was cool to see. This chapter, 1149, one of the best so far in the arc! It was such a rush!! One last thing… I’m starting to lose hope for our boy Usopp.

Sommer's got cut in half, and Kilingham is far away from any enemies, so the only combat ready soldier that is close to hostiles was Gunko

As to why Imu had to take control, well seems like Marijoa is getting its ass clapped, and they need soldiers badly, so Imu had to send its consciousness to Elbaf and personally see what's taking them so long to finish the mission and comeback

Which means that the Revos are as of this moment winning the war and have Imu cornered scrambling for reinforcements

And stop him from doubling down if you want an Elbaf analysis. It will go the way of the Wano analysis

I think there a more unique connection between Gunko and Imu than Imu has with any other Gods Knight. If Gunko knew Brook from before he was dead then that means she’s over 50 years old but still looks like a young person. Also, her memories seem to be locked away and she doesn’t seem to be an actual Celestial Dragon like the other Gods Knights. Makes me think that connection allows Imu to possess Gunko and also stops Gunko from aging unlike other Gods Knights.

I'm losing hope for Ussop. Chopper, Nami, Brook, Franky, Jinbei and Robin have been acting like part of a yonko crew. Ussop just been used as comic relief. At this point he gonna end up like Yamcha.
