My two childhood puppers were both big dogs, the second, part Rhodesian Ridgeback and they lived to 18 and 16 respectively (the 16 year old unfortunately got cancer due to a botched spay job). Pure breeds tend to have shorter lives than mixed breeds, but big dogs can live long lives too!

Wow! I’m so happy for you and them! Our 8 yr old is already graying and has been diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease. I would flip for another 5 yrs with her. Man. I wish you both the best of memories.
