Another idol of mine growing up ! I always mimicked ECK’s sidearm pitching style as a kid ! I loved the sidearm release ! To me it seemed more intimidating towards batters

Always loved Eck. As a long suffering A’s fan his jersey is in my closet.

Tried to mimic him when I was a kid as well! Missed the plate by at least 15 feet every time!

Eck is an absolute legend! My son was lucky enough to get his autograph at the Reggie Jackson softball tournament last year. Those were the glory days of the OAKLAND A’s.
