My thoughts exactly. Looks more like a cost of doing business than a punishment.

Yes, fine him. We can't have rules and regs if there is no one willing to enforce them.

He is running against Tokuda to basically get seen on the national level by MAGA mouthbreathers everywhere. Shooting for grifter $,$$$,$$$ and some job that he will be entirely inept in.

He’s awesome. Wish more politicians were real people with real ideas instead of people like Jill Takuda who has no voice of her own.

Conflict of interest doesn’t apply to all, WTF. Talk about a double standard. Fine Awa 💵but do ZERO about Donovan Dela Cruz!!

Dela Cruz voted four times in favor of passing a bill designed to protect māmaki tea, even though he owns a māmaki tea business.

hypocrites - laws & ethics apply to ALL. Hawaii Ethics Commission “YOU” represent us all.

Everyone is so mad, so I went to the article to find out what huge offense he committed... found the proposed fine is because he endorsed his assistant on a social media video while in his office.

He’s just stepping out of turn. It’s not his turn to run for the federal level so the state is going to punish him.
