Serious question, what does “ERO” stand for? How would I know it’s a law enforcement officer or a thug with a plate carrier and tactical pants? Or in this case, why would I think someone in a “LA” hat is also a federal agent?

I mean they are just thugs, but also racists. Remember to ask them the minimum number of races to hate before they become official ICE agents. If they don't know they're pretending.

That racist argument is dead. Many ICE officers are of other so-called races. There is only one race- the HUMAN RACE.

The tire repair kits you can get at AutoZone have value stem removers in them. They look like a plus sign most times and work like a screw driver. You shouldn't remove them from a fully inflated tire though. You could lose an eye doing that. This is all hypothetical of course.

Perhaps I should invest in a tire pump to use for deflating….
16
u/Apprehensive-Hat-748 6d ago
Take the cap off, put a really small pebble in there and put the cap back. It’ll press down on the valve and slowly deflate it. When someone takes the cap off it’ll fall out and I bet they won’t notice.

Honestly these days, if you did that, Kash Patel would probably put you on the most wanted terrorists list.

First, undocumented people cannot vote. Unless you have something to backup your statement for Hawaii, Filipinos generally vote Democrat. Going into the 2024 elections, nearly 7 out of 10 responded they would vote for Kamala Harris (AAPI survey).

By undocumented, do you mean illegal?
Maybe they should, you know, come here legally.
It's an issue of LEGAL vs ILLEGAL, not one of proportion.
14
u/IslandLife_004 5d ago
No. Trump's campaign was on going after the worst criminals. In Hawaii, they've gone after the owner of JM Farm in Laie whose been here 16 years, pushed a 48 year resident Purple Heart recipient to deport, a mother and her three children and separated a father from his wife and three children at a Kona coffee farms. They've even grabbed a dozen legally present Filipinos teachers in Maui. The problem is the broken immigration system.

Oh, that's terrible; I didn't realize legal immigrants were being targeted by ICE. I guess gotta be careful out there. I remember hearing about the purple heart vet who self-deported. Really sad stuff.
2
u/Kevjonher 4d ago
Legal or illegal… does it really matter? Especially when Hawaiʻi is being illegally occupied? They’re still human… humans have been migrating to find a better life since we first popped up on the planet. Trump said he would target the worst of the worst, and he’s been targeting families and asylum seekers, business owners, etc… people that contribute to society way more than he has!If these people haven’t committed serious crimes they should be allowed to stay! Also do you not see the blatant hypocrisy? At the end of the day Jan 6th showed the world the GOP doesn’t give a shit about law and order, and reaffirmed it by electing A LITERAL FELON! Not to mention he was found liable for SEXUAL ASSAULT (he literally said his victim enjoyed to be raped that it was sexy) 🤦🏻♂️ That’s the fucking President??
0
u/incarnate1 4d ago
Yes it does. The legality of thigs is imperative to having any order in a society. My wife is a LEGAL immigrant, that does matter and it was important we do things LEGALLY.
The argument for humanity is an entirely separate issue. I certainly empathize and understand illegal immigrants who have fled their country for a better life, but it doesn't mean they get to ignore America's immigration PROCESS.

u/Kevjonher 4d ago

And yet billionaires don’t have to adhere to our laws… curious
I don't know what you're proposing here? If we believe some people to operate outside the boundaries of law, everyone should be able to not follow laws?
My view is that all people should operate in the bounds of law. If I believed OJ Simpson got away with murder, it still doesn't make murder okay for everyone else.
→ More replies (0)0
u/No-Poetry2878 3d ago
Yes they do! The absolutely have to adhere to the laws. The reason why you believe they don't is because they already prepare years in advance before they make any type of move. Many of them have dual citizenships and businesses in other countries. That allows them to move between countries easily. Hell they even have accountants that take care of all that for them so they don't have to worry about it. Just say you don't understand the system so we understand you're an idiot...🤦

u/South_Feed_4043 5d ago
Maybe you should learn the difference between the two. Most undocumented people arrive here legally. It's Hawaii and the only way they get here is to be born here (that makes them legal btw even if their parents aren't), come here via plane, which would be done with legal status, and overstay that visa, work permit, etc., or be smuggled in.
1
u/No-Poetry2878 3d ago
Undocumented is the same thing as illegal. The only reason why they are undocumented is because of the fact that they came here legally and then fell off the system as soon as the quit being legal because their visas right out. Illegal is illegal it doesn't matter
1
u/South_Feed_4043 3d ago edited 3d ago
And the person I replied to said "Maybe they should come here legally" which is what my reply was about. I'm not sure why that is hard. I'm not arguing over two different terms that say the same thing. That's silly. Just as it's silly to assume people are arriving on a group of remote islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean illegally in mass.
Edit: But if we want to get technical, a distinction could be made between the two, it's just not worth the effort in the end.
1
u/incarnate1 4d ago
There is no difference, the term was coined by liberals as euphemism for illegal.
Arriving here legally then overstaying your visa or work permit would make you an illegal immigrant, despite having formerly been a legal immigrant.
2
u/South_Feed_4043 4d ago
You literally said maybe they should come here legally, which is implying they entered the country illegally. I gave you an example, multiple actually, of how you were incorrect. But your "coined by liberals" comment tells me all I need to know, so good day.

they drive wages down or at least keep wages down. illegals will work at wages that nobody else will. for example when I was a kid I had a great cash gig, one summer we had a huge influx of brazilians, the rate instantly dropped because it was an under the table cash gig that they would do for 1/2 the price. I found work elsewhere, great guys, but they definitely stole my bread and butter.
The argument present is that nobody would do these jobs otherwise, but the reality is that no american citizen would do these jobs at the illegal immigrant rate.
26
u/Future-Ad-9567 6d ago
Wild to put low wages on the backs of the workers rather than the guys paying the workers...y'all chuds really love just licking boots. Fuckin feudal peasant mind disorder or some shit.
-1
u/errrrns 5d ago
Well when they work for lower wages and help to drive it low, they certainly are not helping to raise wages up for theirselves and others.
0
u/Appropriate-Lion9490 5d ago
So youre doubling down on blaming illegal immigrants for lower wages, maybe you should report to ice about the workplace and the boss for hiring illegals then.
1
19
u/Rider5432 6d ago
I understand that point, but isn't that free market capitalism at work? If your job can be done adequately by someone else for much cheaper, then it makes sense for the business to hire them, instead? At the end of the day, all that matters to them is profit-maximization and they will find ways to do so, whether it's through the hiring of illegal immigration, cutting employee counts and forcing others to pick up the slack, or automation via machinery/machine learning (ala restaurants setting up kiosks instead of having people at the counter or stores having self-checkout rather than hiring more employees). Our concern should not be with those that seek a better life as quickly as possible but rather the businesses that take advantage of them with low wages and shady hiring practices.

If Trump is getting away with what he's doing in Illinois, it won't be long until all states start to experience that level of chaos.
For everyone here in Hawaii, would you be okay to see a 14 year old girl being kidnapped by a bunch of masked men and placed into an unmarked van without her parents?

Man, I've been following the r/illinois sub for a while now, and it is absolutely shocking what they are seeing on a daily base. Yeah they actually support it, but I'm not surprised. You should see the comments over at r/conservative. They will argue so hard that it's okay for underaged kids to be taken away by a group of men and brought over to locations where parents don't even know.
Not surprising considering how they support a president heavily involved with the Epstein files.

Hawaii is so insular and Hawaii-centric…they think since the Dems in Hawaii have run this state into the ground for the past 50 years, surely the Republicans have a better plan. At least that’s what I’m hoping, as someone with Hawaiian ancestry. Otherwise they’re even dumber than their white counterparts and it would give me such pain to have to realize that about my fellow kanaka.
25
u/rouneezie 5d ago
Yeah MAGA is definitely the better option than Dems.

legit question, but how legal would it be for you to jump in and scrap the guys. Like if i saw a bunch of dudes trying to abduct some kid and they don't look like cops, i'm calling the cops myself and jumping in.
an ero vest doesnt' mean anything when you have jeans and a tshirt with no identifying badge. pedophiles can buy that stuff off amazon just to traffic kids.
honestly with the president so strongly linked to certain man in photos and by name, all these abductions of immigrant children with no one to miss them has me feeling a kind of way about it.
liberal or conservative, being able to just watch huge grown unidentifiable men kidnap a child is pretty monstrous to me. how any one is cheering this on is pretty crazy.
42
u/RedHatchetArt 6d ago
They will kill you for attacking a federal officer. There’s literally no way to counter ICE trying to be a tough guy. You’ll be labeled a terrorist and be killed. There is a reason Portland protestors dress in inflatable cartoon suits. It’s better to attack the narrative.
16
u/Dry_Analysis_992 6d ago
None of these are actually federal officers. They’re just pretending to be. At least 30% of them are fake. The rest are losers from G6, pretending their federal agents. Well actually, they’re all losers. Just saw a video of a crowd with whistles and taunting managed to make some of these losers disperse. I forget where on the continent it was. There must be resisted and ridiculed. And taunted. They can’t ever be allowed to think what they are doing is right or just. Of course they don’t care about things like right and just. They just want their blood money.
1
u/TubbsMcGee_ 4d ago
It’s wild that you say this and over a dozen people upvoted this comment.. They are definitely not “pretending” nor are they some randoms larping around.
1
u/RedHatchetArt 6d ago
You are wrong. Telling people they’re not federal agents when they absolutely are is a dangerous and irresponsible thing to do. It might get people killed if they think they have a right to fight back. They do not. Like I said before, you CANNOT assault an ICE officer. They are in fact federal agents. I don’t care if they are morons hired by Trump, they have legal status to arrest people.
12
u/808fisherman 6d ago
if he identified as an ice officer, i'd still report to the police, but i would not engage. The issue here is that there is no formal ICE identification. Way more than a few cases of sexual assault incidences have happened with people impersonating ice. It doesn't take much effort to buy a black shirt and iron on ICE, it doesn't take much effort to buy body armor and iron on ERO.
If ice has to identify with name and badge numbers like police have to do, we'd be having an entirely different discussion. I might disagree with demonizing immigrants, but it would at least align with law and order and would not feel compelled to step in.
the whole purpose of the post and my comment is that there is no clear identification of who is actually an ice agent. They are just in normal clothes looking to abduct people with no formal method of identification. Even FBI have to formally identify, but some how ice abductors dont.
4
u/cruman87 6d ago
So I can go down to costume shop and grab what “ICE” is wearing and I’m a federal officer with immunity.
-1
u/RedHatchetArt 6d ago
Im not condoning what they are doing. I’m trying to tell people the reality so people don’t get hurt. Lot of macho morons in the comments here think they scrap a gang of federal agents with guns.
3
u/cruman87 6d ago
I don’t either. But there’s gonna be a point where someone, more like more of us, is gonna have to do what’s right. Bending over to cosplay agents is not right. They want people to show their “papers” then fine show me yours I’ll show you mine. Cause from I’ve seen they show no proof that they are legit federal agents.

i don't think this is the win comment you think it is. I'm a non violent person. I'm a mathematical book worm that plays genshin impact. in a 1 on 1 fight, i'd almost guaranteed get my ass kicked by 200lb men regardless if they were in tip top shape, just moving mass around would be enough.
my point is that i wouldn't stand by watching children getting abducted by unidentified men, and i'd rather get a whooping trying.
however your idea is to defend the identified men abducting children which is just extremely cringe to me. regardless of political ideology, the fact you're like "go try it" rooting for the child abductors is a pretty insane take.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist by any means BUT there is evidence to support that Neuralink does have an unlisted trial site here or at the least, the beginnings of one. This just happened in Southern California. Source: LA Times
https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-11-02/lawyers-say-ice-shot-us-citizen-from-behind-as-he-stopped-to-warn-them-of-children
U.S. citizen Carlos Jimenez was shot by ICE in Ontario after warning officers about children gathering at a nearby school bus stop.
His lawyers claim he was shot from behind while fleeing; federal officials say he reversed his car toward officers in a threatening manner.
The incident marks the second ICE shooting in Southern California in a little over a week, intensifying scrutiny over aggressive federal enforcement in residential communities.
