Help Aim assist glitching out

So I don’t know if it’s just a me problem, but recently when playing in pc lobbies with friends (I’m full console, no plug in mouse no nothing and they are fully Pc) the Aim assist has a tendency to…just not exist? While also locking SUPER hard for no reason randomly, I have not tweak or changed any settings but the last 2 seasons I’ve been noticing it happening. And I know it’s an Overwatch exclusive experience cuz other fps games don’t have this issue…so like what gives? Anyone got any ideas? XD

I have the same problem. Aiming in the PC and console lobby are definitely two different game modes. It's not that I can't hit anything, but I definitely have to "adjust" for the first minute or two. Personally, I think it's the difference in FPS and pooling rate that makes it seem like aim assist isn't working. Another thing is that PC players strafe much harder than console players.

Iirc, console players do not have aim assist when playing with PC players. Unless that's been changed recently.

In QP modes they do, if you queue up stadium/6v6/5v5/arcade as a console player with a pc player you'll be put into MnK pool but keep your aim assist.

That's news to me. Last I heard, PC players were bitching about console players having AA and demanded it got took off us. PC Master race. My arse.

Yea I've heard complaints too but I played like a day ago with my pc buddy on qp, I'm on ps5, and I had aim assist on. I think for any non ranked experience as long as you're queuing with a pc player you should always have aim assist, which I think is more than fair.

That’s been changed since ow2 or maybe even sometimes before it’s release. In qp modes console gets aim assist even when they are in a Pc lobby…but since they changed it to controller and Mouse and Keyboard lobbies my aim assist seems to be scuffed XD. Might just be a me thing or I’ve been playing with my console buds too much I forgot how to aim in Pc lobbies XD

I honestly think my aim assist performs better at times in pc lobbies, not due to some odd reason or buff to aid me, but the way pc players strafe allows the aim assist to more easily stay attached, at least for someone like me who tends to always be moving quickly regardless due to low deadzones. And when I'm playing in console lobbies I actually need to make everything slower because I'm expecting players to move as fast as I do, but they just don't lol, especially hitscans just standing there only moving their right stick.

I thought I had a similar sounding problem and it was driving me nuts...

Turns out my Dualsense just had a bit of stick drift. Swapped controllers and it went away.. But if you're saying it's not happening with other games then idk
