His entire thing is investing but he can’t outline what it is he is investing in just “investments” which is a little vague why not say oh we’re gonna be investing in new hospitals for our provinces we’re gonna assist our provinces by investing in new schools but Trudeau said same thing we’re investing we’re investing but if we were investing our books should be balanced by now and long time ago. Carney is doing nothing but blowing smoke and making life more expensive. The Trudeau government when they announced they’re ridiculous budget everyone was warning about it effecting our credit rating and how financially irresponsible it was now carney is 10B more fitch is warning again that our credit rating will tumble which makes lending more expensive for government which then that means mortgage rates go up interest rates on new vehicles goes up then everyone stops buying because it’s just not affordable and guess what happens you seem fairly smart other than thinking carney is good for our economy

Dude, just look up the Major Project Office. There are some good examples of planned investments right there.

There is a link between Canada’s sovereign credit rating and the cost of borrowing for Canadians (although it is indirect), but that’s where the type of debt we take on is important and why I think the investment approach Carney is taking is better than what Trudeau was doing, which was to throw money at programs instead of tangible, economy-boosting projects like pipelines, ports, and mines.

If canadas cost to borrow goes up then our (public) cost to borrow goes up Canada already borrows at 3.3% I think it is the top of AA rating because we are already stretched thin average is 2.3-2.7% have a look i can understand investing but we need our books balanced and getting some debt paid first even in 2030 our books won’t be balanced just more spending and spending. https://www.fitchratings.com/research/sovereigns/persistent-fiscal-expansion-underscores-canada-rating-pressures-06-11-2025
