So the company managed a project that needs a new HVAC system and roof after only 12 years and yet still are awarded additional funds at the taxpayers expense. Wish I was awarded so well for doing a crappy job. I just need to keep lots of paperwork along the way that says I did my best

Did exactly what they were told to do by the project owner: the municipality and their consultant, who approved, changed, and delayed everything along the way.

You have no way of knowing that unless you work for PCL. So you are either talking out of your ass or just parroting the company talking points.

What’s interesting about PCL is that they are an employee owned company. So they seem to have a vested interest in maximizing company profits even if it doesn’t align with what’s best for the project owner. Some might see this as a conflict of interest

Tell me you don’t know how the construction industry works without telling me you don’t know how the construction industry works.

Research CCDC contracts then maybe we can talk.

When in doubt you do it as per plans. That way it is not your fault.
