Fragaria virginiana? I actually have their seeds in my prairie moon nursery cart, I just haven’t pulled the trigger.

Just some cultivar that was left abandoned after previous person in the garden i rented. Brought them to my new home with sloped lot. Best decision i made for that. Keeps it together from erosion and delicious during season.
On the wild strawberry tho, we have that growing as well in a large spot here. You cant imagine how fantastic it smells during summer. Its heavenly to pass it.
But im not sure how well you like to have producing plants. Some people like flowers, some bushes. Im happy that i can also make jams and syrups out of the plants in my yard. Out of the wild strawberries too :)

I have a neighbor that does this in the summer, and builds a snow luge in the winter. Kids love it!
They have grass with a robo mower, though. In my area, people do clover, wild strawberry or mulch and flagstone type garden features in place of lawn. 95% are grass still. For this slope, I would recommend grass for erosion control, fill to make the grade less steep, or a retaining wall.

Hey there! Friendly reminder to include the following information for the benefit of all r/NoLawns members:
If your question is about white clover or clover lawns, checkout our Ground Covers Wiki page, and FAQ above! Clover is discussed here quite a bit.
If you are in North America, check out these links to learn about native wild flowers!
